If true. If she takes action she won't work again, so will be looking for a large settlement. Chances are this will be done out of court to keep costs down.

Why?

Because a situation was created where there was no going back.

Her Facebook post was the nail in the coffin of her Chelsea career.

It's unfortunate this happened but her leaving Chelsea is best for both parties, I just hope she has the sense not to pursue legal action and move on with her career.

This could get messy for both sides...you can bet cfc have compiled quite a dossier against her...think this could be a mistake on her part...cfc will go on regardless, but if cfc expose dirt on her, it could affect her job prospects

you mean she has to go down the job center whilst living in her multimillion pand castle in some leafy part of west landan?

ohhhh the injusticeee

A "member of the public" has put in a complaint saying he called her daughter of a whore just this week.

It now leaves the way clear for her to cite sexism, which she couldn't before, as inconveniently a Man also got shouted at.

Now she can fill her boots. I just hope the club had a social media policy and she breached it.

All along there were two people on the receiving end of Mourinho's rant...jon fearn, forgotten conveniently by many of the media, was also demoted, but as opposed to Eva, he has continued working without making a fuss or taking any legal action...sad to say it, but as much as I think it was harsh to demote Eva, there is a strong element of opportunism on her part by taking this course of action

Leaving aside the rights and wrongs of this, it's a shame that in a male dominated sport, Chelsea having demonstrated a welcome progressive move to employ a woman as team doctor, has now seen her leave on what are rumoured to be not the best of terms.

Its a shame that her gender is an issue, if Chelsea were a sexist club she'd never have got the job in the first place. She's setting the cause of equality back years imo.

She's already got her legal team in place so stand by for fireworks.

Much as I hate to swim against the tide, if any boss of mine, male or female, had humiliated me in public the way Jose did Eva and Jon, I would have been on the phone to my union pretty damn quick!

It's all very well to criticise her for using social media - a stupid mistake, maybe, but it was Jose who made the first stupid mistake.

Not according to José. He didn't just verbally attack them for nothing.

Should all football players contact their reps when their coach shouts at them?

Had she not been instructed by the referee to come on the pitch and attend to Hazard?  Did he shout at the referee?

Well, those chaps who appreciated her rear end so much can now watch it waddle away, atop her little legs, with a large cheque in her back pocket.

I agree with Shelley in that this will not have helped women in male environments.

The duchess, not a fan, thinks she is used to getting her own way, being attractive, and should learn from Jon's quiet dignity.

Again, we don't know the whole story.

Jose's criticism was stupid and unwarranted and we will pay the price, sexist or not.

But here's to another 10 pages of victim blaming.

Victim :laugh2:

José is far from being blameless but so is Eva. She's no innocent bystander caught up in the events.

women: We want equality but different treatment and disipline........

sums it up nicely i think

Not all women, but Eva won't have helped.

Watch us employing another woman now showing that this was never about gender. #ViktoryiaIN

As long as she knows that if she does something wrong and the boss has a pop, She can't just throw her toys out the pram, Quit and try to sue the club!!!

Didn't he swear at her? I seem to remember reading something of that nature.

In any case, to each his own. Different people react to the same situation in a different manner, there's no right or wrong in what either of them decided to do.

All that could have been avoided, if Mourinho did the right thing and handled the consequences of his outburst in a proper way. His post game comments were the opposite of what was needed. Instead of thinking about the club first and handling it internally, apologizing to the medical staff in private and giving 'no comment' to the media he turned it into a bloody circus.

Can't see how she'll win because if there was anything solid evidence it'd of been all over the pages with the club facing FA penalties.

Eva is in it for the payout. She is aware of how the press like to get their knives out even in the face of lacking anything beyond accusations and allegations, we've seen it too many times before. She is hoping Roman cuts a cheque rather suffer another media storm like we saw over the Terry and Ferdinand incident.

If she had anything, she'd of taken the club to court already. She's been pandering trying to get what she wants, found she isn't getting it and that's why we're seeing this now.

If she sues over constructive dismissal it'll be interesting to see. The BPL are not her employor despite working in their league. So if she ignores orders from her employer but listens to a BPL official, does the club have a right to sanction her? I don't know, but she can't claim she was doing as her employer told and was punished for that because of the ref. The ref is nto an agent of CFC, so astar as I know listening to the ref's orders is the same as listening to orders from an external source. It'd be interesting to hear from a lawyer experienced in this field given all the different overlapping organizations and regulations, mind you I don't know if Eva can site ignoring the ref would be like another worker ignoring a cop/the law. In football yes but in a court of law, do they recognize the ref as a legal authority over Eva? As I said, complex stuff. Lawyers will be minted for sure, only winning party.

Perhaps we'll see the club smart up and place Fearn on the bench next match. Then they can claim it was a probationary reassignment or on temporarily reduced duties until they could reaffirm her ability to do the job and/or patch up relationships with the manager, surely a part of the job description. Nothing illegal there that I know ofbut it all depends on the paperwork and documentation of communication.

That being said, I don't know what magical land I've woken up in where you are legally protected from having your job performance publicly called into question by your employeer. Are some suggesting that Eva's "right" not to be upset or offended supercedes Mourinho's right to freedom of speech?

Mourinho could of handled it better, so could have Eva. Eva jumped on social media as soon as she thought her reputation was harmed yet did nothing when the media was coming out with bogus allegations of sexism not just against Mourinho but also Chelsea. Mourinho lost his head because he felt someone had harmed Chelseas ability to compete, he has since been devoting his time to making the team better. They have both made clear what's important to them and only one of them have taken steps to show how important this club is to them.

Two guess who I support...... and don't forget about poor Fearn otherwise their might be a bit of truth regarding sexism on the issue. Eva's lawyers better be doing everything they can to get Fearn out of the employ of Chelsea come court time. He could shred her whole case to pieces if Chelsea have handled this well and I bet they have (aside from Mourinho).

Yeah, that sums up women perfectly.

Christ, what a stupid statement.

Anyway, very disappointed if all this is true. She should have handled it better... but we only know what our beloved, always-truth-telling press share. She's either got some bad advice, was too humiliated to return or just has her eyes on the money. I don't think (again like everyone else in this thread I don't know the ins and outs) she would ruin her reputation and career by throwing a strip. I don't know, I really hope not.

This was an unnecessary mess created by one hard headed individual and apparently made worse by another.

Clearly Jose and Eva could have come to terms behind close doors if they both had the best interests of the team and Chelsea FC in mind. I do not doubt Jose does, despite his hot headed nature.

Eva has shown Chelsea was nothing more than a job to her, and Jose gave her a way out of that job with a likely big payout.
