Eden Hazard for me. Courtois was pretty good as well.

Courtois first half, hazard, costa and fabregas were all better second half.

Really hope willian doesn't start the next game.

Tempted to say Rami as it all changed when he came on and he put a decent shift in.

Courtois again, saved our asses in the first half. I think this is the 3rd time in a row i have voted Courtois MOTM, say's a lot about our attacking players right now.

I voted for Costa - he seemed dialed in, but couldn't get the rest of the attackers on the same page - Of Course Hazard was excellent but I thought Wanyama put Cesc into his pocket

Admittedly, I missed most of the first half as we were travelling back from a weekend away. But in the second half, the only player who tried to take the game to Southampton and cause them trouble was needless to say, Hazard. He is just on a different level to the rest of the team. If some of our other players were anything near his level, we would be winning games at a canter.

 

Noticeable how the crowd were getting frustrated with fabregas today. He mis-placed a hell of a lot of passes and there were more and more groans with every one - yet other players were getting away without the same level of criticism from the home support. No doubt because he's the only ex Gooner!!!

Thought Fab, Willian, Matic and Oscar all looked way of their game today. Oscar just never looks someone who can last 90 minutes - you always know he is likely to be hooked when we need another goal - unfortunately Jose doesn't seem to have faith in what we have on the bench to make changes earlier. And from what Ramires and Cuadrado offered when they came on, I can see why.

A sympathy vote? A protest vote? Difficult to say as we've not seen much of him. He must feel like the lad finally being allowed to the party only to find the rest of his mates have already had their fill once he gets there.

Tibo hands down. As has been said already without him we would have lost and been one or two down at the break. The only person who comes close was Azpi for me.

 

Jt was ok, Cahill poor first half better second. Brana once again very good in their half and too often caught out on ours.

 

Matic off form, Cesc needs to do better, all 3 attacking mids were useless for me, always making a poor final pass, poor link up and running in to Saints players. Costa was decent appart from his first touch. Best Ramires has looked for me in a while.

Diego. His influence was bigger than Hazard's. Eden can't decide the games. He leads the team but key pass or goal isn't come.

I would venture that is the same one that used to vote for Torres as man of the match the past few seasons.

I'm surprised I was the only one to vote for Azpi. I thought he was immense.

Cannot fathom anyone not voting for Hazard, the only explanation would be people are becoming desensitized to how amazingly he plays.

His performance embarrassed everyone else on the field, not just his outstanding technical ability but the way he fought for every 50/50 ball, exemplified when he flew through the air and shoved Ward-Prowse off the ball on the edge of the box in injury time to give us 1 last chance on goal. Did an insane amount of work on both ends of the field and was depended upon entirely by everyone around him.
