March 18, 201511 yr This for me is a bit like the elephant in the room, he's scoring goals for fun at Boro, bundles of energy and looks like a great prospect. I'd love to see him given a crack here, hopefully next season. I would hate to see him sold without being given a fair shot....by that I mean at least a string of half hour stints rather than a token 10 mins.
March 18, 201511 yr When we struggle to play a £27 million player or an International French striker I can't help but think this young lad stands little chance of breaking through for us. I'd love to be proven wrong by Jose though.
March 21, 201511 yr Bamford watch on sky sports 1 :) Kalas being used at centre-back as well. Bamford going for the short-sleeves with gloves look of Costa. And Kalas just f**ked up. Nuts and then drags the guy down in the box. Edited March 21, 201511 yr by Blue Daze
March 21, 201511 yr According to Jeff Stelling it's shouldn't have been a penalty. The striker stuck his foot into the ground and went down
March 21, 201511 yr I turned it on just in time to see Kalas give away the penalty. Yeah, unfortunately Kalas had a shocker there.
March 21, 201511 yr He's got tremendous workrate, always putting pressure on the ball and he just made an interception that led to a breakaway. What impressed me was that he was the one pointing to where the ball should go. He's got a brilliant football brain on those shoulders.
March 21, 201511 yr Atkinson just bought a dive in the penalty area, amazing how he see's that as a penalty but not the Cesc one at Southampton. Really is a crap ref.
March 21, 201511 yr if boro get promoted, it would be good for him to get a PL loan with them. He now has a relationship with the staff, players and manager there. If the above does not happen he should be in our team as Costa's backup. We should move Remy on to give Bamford a chance.
March 22, 201511 yr He'll be better than kane, whether at Chelsea or another top EPL club. He also scores better goals. He is getting wasted in that division. It is frustrating seeing harry kane getting all these headlines when bamford is truly the no1 english forward.

Bit of a silly statement to make that one, I remember when people were saying the same about McEachran in comparison to Wilshere.
March 22, 201511 yr Bit of a silly statement to make that one, I remember when people were saying the same about McEachran in comparison to Wilshere. Yep lets not turn into Man Utd fans..... Welbeck is better than Sturridge Cleverley is better than Whilshere Kagawa is better than Hazard Anderson is better than Fabregas Januzaj is better than Sterling
March 22, 201511 yr Bit of a silly statement to make that one, I remember when people were saying the same about McEachran in comparison to Wilshere. And scott sincalre with regards to Walcott And Carlton Cole witth regards to Rooney And in fairness it was me every time, no problem holding my hands up and saying, that was daft.... but I maintain all 3 where very talented
March 22, 201511 yr He's been better at that level than Kane, but it's about making the next step up. Kane has done that admirably despite having to play at that sh*thole. Bamford needs to show he can do that, but first he needs some faith putting in him. Will Jose do that?
March 22, 201511 yr Bit of a silly statement to make that one, I remember when people were saying the same about McEachran in comparison to Wilshere. Put him in liverpool, spurs or arsenal squad and bamford will score goals for fun. He is on another level to Kane and people will realise once he gets his chance. If he doesn't get his chance with Chelsea, one of the other top 6 sides will snap him up for sure and it will be another sturridge situation (minus the injuries of course). No belief from the manager = no belief from the fans, what a shame. Edited March 22, 201511 yr by enigma

March 22, 201511 yr I love Bamford and want to see him given a chance.. but comparing him to Kane? Really? Kane scored a hat trick in the premier league yesterday, Bamford is currently playing in the championship.

March 22, 201511 yr Let's see how Kane does next year before creaming ourselves over him. James Beattie was the top scorer one season wasn't he? And he went onto massive things....
March 22, 201511 yr strong hattrick a tap in, a huge deflection and a penalty not to mention kanes scoring record in the championship is poorer than bamfords im not saying bamford is as good as kane, but i dont think the comparison is that outragous Harry Kane, over 3 years on loans at various clubs, Orient, Milwall, Norwich, Leciester, scored 14 goals in 56 games. Dropped into the spuds first team and you know the rest. Bamford, 2 and 1/2 years on loan, MKD, Derby, Boro, 40 goals in 90 games. Bamford is 2 months younger. We don't even know for sure if he will get a chance in the team with Costa here. Edited March 22, 201511 yr by coco
March 22, 201511 yr No one would even know who Harry Kane was if not for Soldardo being a massive flop and Ady's usual rubsihness after a good start. It's all about timing and chances
