wengers latest quote is a corker:

"I am not a great believer in history,"

haha, sums it up really

Haha, I think he could probably have worded that better.

I thought you made a whole set of valid points about the man's character, Plokkers.  His total lack of self-awareness is astonishing.

And no, BD, there is no "PM Conspiracy" that you seem to have identified in some strange fit of paranoia.  People are saying thing about you openly.  As several people have said, you arrive, appear to get into an argument in nearly every thread you "contribute" to, usually with long-standing and well-respected posters, get called out on it and then say something disingenuous about how it's just your style and you're sorry if you offended and it won't happen again, and then just carry on in exactly the same way.

I'm an older gentleman, so am not truly aware of the full meaning of "internet troll", but, having looked it up I find your behaviour in this forum from day one has displayed all of the attributes of a "Playtime Troll" with some of the more pernicious attributes of a "Tactical Troll".

I have you on ignore, but buggers keep on quoting your repetitive nonsense.  Maybe other people will realise the best way forward is "Don't feed the troll"

Personally I think he's been one of the best posters here since he has arrived, I love his points.

People get too caught up in rivalries I feel, he's not all that bad, he disagrees a lot but that's because he states his opinion a lot, so you will be quoted on it.

I hope he keeps it up, he disagrees with me a lot, difference is I don't get my nickers in a twist about it.

Theres a good saying, if everyone around you is an ahole, Maybe it's because.....your'e the ahole

Well he's not going to stop posting his opinion no matter how many hate him, why should he also?

He brings a lot to the forum, happy to have him around.

Do people really hate him? I think that's been blown out of proportion tbh. Some disagree and maybe some have taking a dislike to him but I don't think anyone hates him.

Anyway back to the Arsenal game

Lmao it's not mate, look at the earlier pages, some want him dead like when I first came to the forum.

But yeah enough of this, Arsenal game is way more important.

Whoa, that's a bit strong.

Oiii! Get back on topic you little sh*t.

As I said before, I would be happy with a draw, I think the league is in our hands very confident it's ours I mean how can you not be confident. However Arsenal winning is still a long term factor as some have previously stated.

People wanted you dead?

Here's hoping it says Mourinho wins 8 by Sunday night

Does anyone have any news on Drogba or Remy?

It was said Remy could have been back for last week, surely he has a chance of being available this week? I also heard something about Drogba being out not sure if it was true.

Also I think Costa might be back just in time for the Liverpool game.

EDIT: And of course not Bobby, just a big fat exaggeration, although you wouldn't put it past someone like AsianBoy.

You will have to wait for the pre-match press conference tomorrow. I am sure Jose will tell you all he wants you to know

Have no worries mates - trust in Jose & he will allow you to be The Carefree Chelsea Fan you really want to be

Good news everyone! Robbie Savage has put up his BBC column about the game:

Arsenal v Chelsea: Why Wenger can end Mourinho hoodoo

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32430864

In the article he outlines his reasoning for why he thinks Arsenal might beat us on Sunday.

Why is this good news you ask? Well, I'll tell you. Because this time last week in his column about the United game he wrote:

Man Utd can slow down Chelsea title charge, says Robbie Savage

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32324201

And we all know how that one panned out!

Confidence just got a little higher.

Not to defend Lily but he wrote that United prediction before the injuries were announced and specifically highlighted Michael Carrick's role in the United team. Not only did they end up without their key midfielder, it also led to them playing their best striker further back.

The United game was great, but as soon as those injuries were announced then everyone knew United would struggle and they did.

Arsenal don't have those injury concerns. They aren't going to be missing important players and they have personnel in key areas that can cause problems.

This Arsenal team are in a completely different league to the United team we faced on Saturday.

Every week I am reading articles prophesying about how the wheels are going to fall off for us and waxing lyrical about United or Liverpool or Arsenal and that they are "setting down a marker" for next season.

It's either we aren't going to be able to cope with the directness and aerial threat of Felliani and now it's that we are going to get tired whilst Arsenal tiki-taka their way through our team.

Basically it is all wishful thinking. People don't want us to wrap up the title within the next two weeks because then the league is over before we enter the final month of the season and that's not a great advert for "The Greatest League in the World ©".

People don't want to see us keep winning either, the purists harping on about "the right way to play" oh so desperately want to declare a "victory for football".

But we keep doing our thing, which is being the best team in the league, meanwhile the likes of Savage have to concoct their next article on how relegation candidate Leicester have "found form at the right time" and will be looking to take points off of us who haven't played well since football was first conceived. All the while we march triumphently on towards being Premier League champions once again and reveling in the knowledge that it is going to make a lot of people sick to their stomachs seeing JT hold aloft yet another trophy.

Yup.

They keep telling us teams have our number but time and time again it's proven very wrong, it stretches back to when we played City and won 1-0 at theirs last season.

Of course it's going to happen one day and Sunday may well be that day but even a broken clock is corrects twice a day and this is nothing more than what Savage is.

They are desperate for us to fall make no mistake about that.

Once again, Lily's article is based almost entirely on Carrick's presence. He even speaks of Fellaini in relation to him when he says

And the problem for Jose Mourinho is that Carrick's presence also helps United get the best out of Fellaini too.

I'm sure there are but Savage's article isn't about that. It's actually a decentish article about the game on Sunday.

Give me a C!

Give me a H!

etc...

There's nothing wrong with Savage writing his views on the game. It's his job and apparently there's an audience for them (not quite sure why since it's Robbie Savage). As it is he's made some valid points in both that you obviously agree with because you aren't really disagreeing with the specifics.
