But his Ostrich rant later was just bizarre, he makes Phil Brown look normal. Pearson reckons he fought off a pack of wild dogs while trekking solo through the Carpathian mountains, I think he is a sociopath with Walter Mitty tendancies, who makes LVG look thick skinned.

Sorry for the off topic question but who's DAVE?  I don't understand who this defender is supposed to be.  I don't see anyone named Dave on the roster.  I'm quite puzzled... lol

 

I've just listened to the Pearson rant, my god what a c**t honestly. He's just a bully, the press are a-holes but he was been a bully to an individual and I don't like that.

The best part of the game for me was when Zouma was being readied to come on and the Leicester fans started to chant “Boring, Boring Chelsea!”

A few seconds later we burst up the park, Cesc cuts it back for Ramires and he rifles one into the top corner…stadium falls silent then the our fans start singing it!

Brilliant.

I think it goes to far when calling them petty names and focus on personal insults rather than do your job of answering questions.

It's not like it was an outlandish question he was asked either, the big plank just saw red and started to act like he was back in a playground.

Hope he's sacked and spends the rest of his days on the dole, scumbag.

Watch "Only Fools and Horses" an old UK comedy. Roadsweeper guy in that who's intellectually challenged, keeps calling another chap Dave and it's not his name. When Azpi joined no one could remember or pronounce his name so Dave stuck!

Probably doesn't work if you're not from the UK though.

Earlier this season, there was a big interview in the Chelsea magazine with him which was titled "So Dave, why do people call you Cesar"?  It still makes me laugh!  Maybe I need to get out more.

 Cesar Azpilequeta. We simply call him Dave.

Buzzing after last night. Great comeback in the 2^nd half, some great football from the team. What a dogged, determined bunch we’ve got. Thought Willian as excellent, MOTM for me, and it was nice to see some intricate play from him, Fabregas and Hazard again – shades of earlier on in the season. I was particularly happy to see Cahill and JT combine for the decisive goal – both have been absolutely immense since the COC, and it seems quite fitting given the way we’ve played in recent weeks that those two should produce the winning goal. I’m quite outspoken about my criticism of Cahill, but as I said he hasn’t put a foot wrong for a few months now. Hopefully he can carry this on consistently.

 

Can’t wait for Sunday, will be there in the Shed Lower. Really want us to finish the job and then sing this song all night! Ohhh…..

I agree that those you mention are beyond contempt but it's a few people in a profession of thousands...it doesnt give people the right to abuse someone who had nothing to do with those incedents.

You can't tar them all with the same brush mate.

No you are right, but the sports journos constantly spout crap about us and our team so that's why I had little sympathy for the particular one in question. I just don't trust any of them, they  make a living out of other peoples pain and misery. However I am sure there are a few decent ones.

Also you got to look at the Pearson incident as two human beings and one human being decided to bully another. Not acceptable in my book.

Not always keen on some journos, but he made himself look worse and not a good look for the game.

No

Massive win 1st half was poor I'm sure Jose ripped into the lads at half time and give them a reminder we can win the league this weekend, fans were incredible again and 2nd half was anything but boring on our part UTC.

Pearson does himself no favours but that reporter becomes very unprofessional about two-three minutes in and from then on it's all a bit Alan Partridge.

 

Pearson can't express himself very intelligently and lacks the wit of a Jose but the reporter becomes very schoolmasterly and it's unseemly all round.

Who does that Pat Murphy thinks he is, what right does he have to get so personal and demand answers from Pearson ? The media think they own football. I don't really like Nigel Pearson but if he had reacted and told that guy to shut his f**king mouth, he would have probably been charged by the F.A, but that guy would have deserved it.

I thought Pearson did a good job keeping his cool there if it was Jose though the reporter wouldn't have gotten half as brave.

No journalist would do that to Jose because getting in to his press conferences is like gold dust.

I think the idea was to stroll about for 45 minutes and pick them off 2nd half. Apart from relaxing a bit too much at the end of the first half, it went according to plan. Jose's economy of effort is what will win us this title. Three shots on target, three goals, game over.
