Sorry lads- the league doesn't mean anything...Arsenal are the best team in Europe apparently  :laugh2:  :laugh2:  :laugh2:

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/apr/29/theo-walcott-arsenal-best-team-europe

Theo Walcott has risked widespread ridicule by claiming that Arsenal are the best team in Europe this year.

The Gunners had an unspectacular Champions League campaign and were unable to make it past the last 16 after going down 3-1 at home to unfancied Monaco in February. But Walcott told the Arsenal website that the team were much improved and “not many people thought we’d be second and challenging for the Premier League” (albeit they currently lie third behind Manchester City).

“In this calendar year, we’ve been the best team in Europe. It’s the strongest the squad has been and everyone is staying fit as well. There aren’t many injuries in the squad, which is important. If we had an injury-free season, I think we could lift the title.”

I love how he says they were 'challenging for the Premier League' when at no stage were they within anywhere near striking distance of us. 13 points, mind the gap Theo...

What a great second half! Absolutely amazing that we managed to turn it around after an awful first half - that's what real champions are made of.

Fair play to Leicester, hope they'll stay up and hopefully we'll help them by smashing that awful Sunderland team.

Big respect to the posters that have been optimists on here all season, JoeyN might argue a lot on these boards but he was one of the few if not the only one who was saying we are going to win this game.

I myself thought Leicester had it in the bag, I didn't really mind if we had lost this game, I knew we had the title anyway. But point being is that some posters have always been level headed this season and massive respect to the ones that have kept the faith pumping on the forum during the hard and nervous times.

The league is coming lads and I can't wait to celebrate when we are lifting that trophy, CAN'T BLOODY WAIT!

Just watching their manager's interview. Weird guy. It's good he's in football management, otherwise he would have to be in a shadier walk of life.

I'm thinking he would be something out of "Eastern Promises" when I see and hear him.

An excellent win against an opponent who has really been playing well in recent weeks. Even here they gave us a run for our money with their direct, high-tempo play. I'm not terribly surprised they tired at length, but if they continue playing like this, Leicester will stay up. IMO they're certainly not one of the three worst teams in the PL.

From what I saw, Willian, Fabregas and JT were all impressive.

Oh, what a night! Up with the Chels!!

After a lackluster 1st half, Jose got everyone's attention. Great second half. So glad to see Didier get in there after a poor first half and struggles. Though I hate to see the injuries to Costa and Remy, Drogba has help get us through no matter his skill level now. Costa is almost a forgotten man. How many of the 15 BPL games has he played in 2015? 6? 8?

Willian was Mr. Hustle tonight. Great game. He does not shoot or score much byt his hustle is terrific and he solid decent skills.

JT is just the man, What a legend. Thankful to have seen him play. Proud to have him leading our squad. :good2:

Petr Cech had a fine game as well. The goal was not his fault. I blame the slippery field as if Azpilicueta does not slip, he may have prevented the goal.

Bring home all you mates going Sunday. Support our lads like never before!!

Come on you Chelsea!! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:

Arsenal are like Liverpool. They both convince themselves they're winning in some other way when they're not on the pitch.

back in my hotel after a few beers out to celebrate in leicester...anyone feel like having a title party on Sunday?...yeah baby...tonight showed why we are champions and all the haters can go fcuk themselves

A flat first half in tricky conditions, much better second half. A subtle change from Jose at half time improved us and how fitting that it was the old guard Drogba and Terry who dragged us over the line. Willian was a terrier tonight, never seen him so attack minded. Almost there now.

Watched the game just of pvr as I was at work when it was live.

First half was garbage. Cannot say the foxes deserved to take the lead but we certainly derived to be behind.

Second half was like night and day. Only one team ever in it. Didier showing he can still deliver for us. Class remains permanent.

Jt with another important goal, and a cracking goal from Ramires.

Hazard was subdued again, Willian man of the match for me. Really impressive i like him as our number 10.

Well done lads.

It's no wonder that they have a mutual respect for eachother, they both have a few things in common. They are both bitter, they both like to proclaim that they have class, when they clearly have none, they both think that they play great football, which they proclaim is more important than winning trophies, basically they are both delluded. Also, they can't win the league, so they are therefore both jealous and they both make up silly chants like boring Chelsea, which is such a stupid chant that our own fans sing it and their own club legends, like Ian Wright even mentions how stupid the chant is, Wright is clearly embarrassed by the Arsnenal fans, they must be so proud.

Arsenal are like Liverpool. They both convince themselves they're winning in some other way when they're not on the pitch.

To the Blue is the Color;

Boring Boring Chelsea football is their name

We all play to win points every day

So cheer us on when we grind big games

Because Chelsea, trophies are our name

After I got off work, I pulled out my mobile, went to the BBC Sports app, and went into OCD mode. I think I got a few stares when I cheered after JT and Rambo scored, but I didn't care. I think I was the happiest person ever after seeing the result notification on my phone.  ::ChELSeAFaN::  One more match, and we have the league!  I can't believe it!

Before anyone says anything, if I wasn't broke from my English holiday, didn't owe my parents money, and saving for a new laptop, I would have skipped out on work and gone to the pub.

Fantastic win!

Waited late to push ourselves through. Was so nervous and didn't want us to waste an opportunity with this game in hand to put us 13 points in the clear. So glad we took full advantage and now can seal the deal at home over the weekend.

Needless to say, this weekend will be one of those days where I'll be glued to the tele.

DD, thank you. It was lovely to see you ship one.

Onwards and upwards!

Hey guys,

Sorry for the off topic question but who's DAVE?  I don't understand who this defender is supposed to be.  I don't see anyone named Dave on the roster.  I'm quite puzzled... lol

That goal was actually Ramires trying to settle the ball :(

A very hard first touch that was, flew right in the top corner, what a crap player!

What gets me on this play, is the chemistry of the team there. First you have DD fighting for the ball. The Cesc gets it & makes the run towards the endline. He dribbles & at the same time he nods to Ramires. no words & the slightest bit of eye contact. Cesc knows where to pass the ball & Ramires knows where the ball is going to be. One Touch & upper V in the far post. Foxes didn't even have a chance to stop that play. That plays IMHO signifies why CFC are Champions!!!! Boring? Whatever, the haters can eat a dick while we Sing our Magic Cesc Fabregas Song!!!

Azpilicueta is Dave

Play on his difficult to spell/say name (not that difficult) so everyone just calls him dave
