December 20, 201510 yr Ake is a really good left back! Hopefully we give him a go next season rather than let him become another promising youngster that gets away. Unfortunately it will more than likely be the latter.
December 20, 201510 yr We will have our hands full next week no doubt, Watford all over Liverpool like a dirty shirt. Oscar and company are not going to have any time on the ball whatsoever, Terry will get ripped another one from in form Igalo and Deeny. Geez this EPL season is turning into a nightmare for the so called 'big clubs' both home and away. How did the playing field get levelled like this? Is everyone now just 'average'.

It may be the money. Clubs got a lot more before this season and there's much more to come before next. I think that Man Utd's season after SAF went showed that 'smaller' teams had nothing to lose from being more positive in their play.
December 20, 201510 yr It's also about players doing the sensible thing and going to a lower end team and trying to work their way up. Mahrez wasn't really heard of, now he could walk into most teams in the league on the form he's on. Shaqiri and Bojan are players who could player at a higher level but they're really enjoying their time at Stoke and they're playing well together. The Premier League is easily the best league to double/treble your wage after one good season and potentially get a move to a champions league club.
December 20, 201510 yr I've started watching it, so cue a Liverpool turn around and 2-3 win. No chance now, Watford are absolutely pummeling them. Liverpool have had a few efforts but Watford look seriously dangerous every time they counter attack.
December 20, 201510 yr Good call. Three - nil !! :-) It's happened a lot this weekend. Wish I gambled. I said on the other topic that we would win 3-1 yesterday with 2 set pieces and another before they pulled one back.
December 20, 201510 yr I won't judge Klopp just yet. He is trying to work with the shambles left by Rodgers.
December 20, 201510 yr Watford lovely to watch. When your club captain is Jordon Henderson you can't be taking that seriously
December 20, 201510 yr So refreshing to see sides like Watford & Leicester doing so well and getting good results but by playing good football. Very impressed with Watford today - that third goal was a great move. Good to see Ake doing so well and I'm keeping my eye on the Watford manager. Carries on like this and he'll move to a bigger club and I think we could do a lot worse.
December 20, 201510 yr If you take the negative feelings we all have towards the season based on our team's performances...it's a fascinating league season. I would be thrilled to see Leicester to win. I know it's unlikely...they'll probably fall off in the new year, like Southampton did...but imagine if they didn't.... It would be one for the books.
December 20, 201510 yr watford and leicester in the top 10 by xmas, who would have thought. And Leicester first, more pertinently! Edited December 20, 201510 yr by Teritus
December 20, 201510 yr Author Can't judge Klopp when he hasn't had a transfer window yet but on current evidence are they any better off now than if they'd stuck with Rodgers?
December 20, 201510 yr Leicester fan reduced to tears as Foxes top the Premier League http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03cl1cc/player
December 20, 201510 yr Klopp is overrated if Hiddink got 12points from his next 9 games people would be saying see he's spent that's what Klopp has done so far in the league. He will do OK but he relies on outrunning the opposition. Can't see that working for a team who play in Europe with the intensity and extra games in English football. German football is very open all teams go for it, big difference to England where Watford had 35Percent and won 3-0. Especially as Klopp doesn't want possession he wants to counter. It's why they played better against the bigger teams. He's going to have to change his approach or hope Liverpool don't qualify for Europe and go all out in the league. I speak German and outside of Dortmund most people are baffled in Germany that he is held in such high esteem. It's his charisma that has helped him as much as results. Anyway well done Watford throughly deserved win with an excellent game plan.
