Chelsea v Fiorentina

Coming down from Renfrewshire with my 15 year old for our first game at the Bridge, a few years ago when in London we did the Stadium tour and ever since as well as Rangers, Chelsea are now his team, we're off on holiday next week but all he talks about is he's going to see Chelsea play at Stamford Bridge.

Welcome to the Bridge mate, hope you both have a great time

Morning, thanks to the administrator for approving the registration.

Down to business!

My lad is CFC mad and as a surprise I've purchased tickets for me, him and his mate for the Fiorentina game.

I've done the bridge numerous times with Oxford (my team) and know London pretty well. However, this tube strike (any chance it being cancelled?) has put a massive spanner in the works.

Usually we'd just get back to Paddington via Fulham Broadway or if to crowded, Earls Court. Now that's not going to be an option does anyone know the easiest commute back to Paddington? I hate to let him down by not attending..

Thanks in advance for the help...

j.

Depends how old the lad is - I walk to Paddington, but if he's only a little lad, that might be too much.  It's just under 3 1/2 miles

Some extra tickets are available

http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/07/extra-fiorentina-tickets-on-sale.html

few more tickets have become available for next week’s Stamford Bridge friendly against Fiorentina.

Our final match before our defence of the Barclays Premier League season had previously sold out, but we are now able to offer extra general sale tickets to see the Blues in action.

As well as being the first chance to see Asmir Begovic and Falcao in our colours at the Bridge, supporters will have the chance to welcome every member of the squad into the 2015/16 season, with a range of pre-match entertainment for all the family, including a parade of both the Premier League and Capital One Cup trophies.

Tickets are available from just £25 for adults and £12 for juniors and seniors, while hospitality packages are also on sale at a reduced price.

Happy we've got one more pre season before the season starts. Hopefully he'll start most of our first team to get them even more match fit for Swansea.

Costa will be out for this one.

I think this is a good opportunity to test out our 4-3-1-2. Jose has talked about using 2 strikers. Remy and Falcao up top, Hazard behind with Matic, Cesc and Oscar.

jose already confirmed that falcao and remy will start, would like to see cuadrado start since this probably is his last game with jose looks like he's starting to prefer moses over him, make or break time for juan

Jose will not give a start to a youth player.

More chance of Jesus returning to the mortal plane.

Jose has started numerous youth players in our pre and post season friendlies.

So strange to have this friendly wedged in on the eve of the new season.

I'm expecting lots of rotation and substitutions for this one.

Give some decent minutes to Falcao to ensure he is match fit going into the new season.

Give a run out to RLC, Traore and Kenedy to make them feel a part of the team.

Give a token run out of the last 10 minutes to Cuadrado so we can all thank him for his dedicated service to the club before he returns back to Italy.

We should field the youth that may have a chance of featuring this season such as RLC and the fringe players. Don't risk an injury to the first teamers. Having said that Mourinho will probably put out a full strength team and Cahills nose will shatter completely, Costa will completely ruin his hamstring and god knows what else
