Ola Aina

Yep RWB would be more comfortable for him, bit odd to play him on the wrong side when we know Azpi can do a job on the left.

Offensively he was pretty good, has technical ability to beat a man and wriggle his way out of pressure to pass the ball without losing it.

Defensively he was playing on the wrong side and as a whole we were all over the place so it's not the best game to judge him.

Can't be bothered to find the exact quote but Aina said recently that he prefers and feels more comfortable playing on the left.

At the last days, we've been linked with players like Antonio, Hector, R.Rodriguez. Is Aina in Conte's plans?

Got through preseason, has been involved in many matchday squads, is still very young.

I'd say he is absolutely in his plans

Personally i don't rate him, but he seems to be one of the ones on the fringes at the moment. He may well get some more time in the FA cup.

How can you not rate Aina? i think he' is a real talent.

Lots of players look good at youth level, but few make the step up. I just don't think he's going to be one of the few.

He is already in the first team squad at 20yo, that is some achievement in itself. The longer he is surrounded by top professionals, the more chance of him being a top player himself..

Lost place on the bench now with JT and Ake coming back. I know he's a fullback/wing back but we aren't going to go for four defenders on the bench with Zouma as well. Fingers crossed for a long cup run.

Yeah, I suppose the inverse of a natural skepticism about individual youth players making it is the idea that every single successful footballer in the history of the game was at some point a youth player.

I'm excited about Ake. He's made lots of improvements.
