Ramires.

Although Mikel had a great game to it has to be said.

Ramires was very good but I'll give it to Kenedy who topped off his performance with a goal and assist.

Mikel was very close, but i will go for Ramires

Ramires, he found a lot of space throughout the night, made some good passes and got himself a goal and an assist. I liked how positive him and Mikel were in this game, i know it was against a lower league side but i wish they played that way a lot more.

Kenedy gets my vote, well taken goal and an excellent assist in his first start for the club.

 

Very promising performance from him. 

 

Honourable mentions to Ramires, who had his best game in a long time and Mikel who was excellent in the middle. 

Ramires. He had a good game, he also scored one and made an assist. Kenedy, RLC and Mikel after him.

Close call with Kenedy, Ramires and Mikel all catching the eye, I really thought Mikel got better and better through the game and with a lot of changes I think the stability he instilled was a big part of the win so he gets my vote.

Falcao played alright from what I saw, hardly Torres-esque.

 

His shots were on target but were blocked or cleared off the line. You have to remember he hasn't had a good run of games yet, until that happens then I think it's a bit unfair and unwise to berate him.

 

Remy looks good playing wide, he is also a goal threat and it reminds me of when we used to play Anelka out wide.

Remy was awful out wide, he scored a cracker but he shouldn't be played there. He's a striker

It's Ramires for me but Mikel certainly deserves credit for a great performance in his own right.
