even if players were dropped for this match, I'd wager everything I own on the fact that it'll be back to the same predictable starting line up in the league.

lots of big talk about dropping 6 players and making wholesale changes but I honestly cant see it happening, ever.

some of the younger players must be wondering what on earth has to happen for them to get a consistent run in the team. fabregas and ivan have been rank f**kin rotten and IMO change is required, big time

I have never seen a player favoured as much as i have with Ivanovic, 2 months of terrible football from him and he still get's picked.

 

Mourinho dropped Ashley Cole forever after only 2 or 3 poor games, he dropped Terry even though i don't think Terry has been all that bad.........but Ivanovic is getting away with it.

 

It's ok for managers to have their favourite type of players, but showing favouritism is dangerous. It can't be good for morale for the squad players.

I really hope Jose knows why he keeps picking the same players again and again. Must be so demotivating for those waiting in the wings.

Mikel and Rami deserve a start tbh. Pedro is an excellent CL player. Didn't think Jose would drop even this many. Good.

Exactly. If Oscar has one bad game, he get's dropped, Ivanovic has about 8 bad games but remains in the team. If i was a player i would start to question why i am getting dropped but others aren't.

 

I love Mourinho but his favouritism towards certain players is getting a bit tedious.

 

Hopefully it pays off today, he and we really need it to.

Maybe he has to pick Ivan? There must be a reason why baba isn't playing, so Dave has to go to lb which means Ivan has to start.

Dropping Hazard and Matic ... Good move ... both deserve it ...

Dropping Ivan and Fab would be even better ...

I'm not convinced making Ivan Captain (untouchable) bodes well at all tbh.
