Don't think Kenedy has anything to do with the strikers - the absence of Remy/Falcao suggests for me that we'll be playing for the draw first and the win if we're fortunate. I suppose the other possibility is that José wants zero risk to either of them because they'll be relied upon for Saturday.

 

Kenedy is a 'chasing the game' sub if ever there was one. Could see him coming on for either Mikel or Ramires if we get desperate.

They haven't been dropped, they'll be back in the next Premier Leagie game, it's just resting/rotating. If this was a knock out CL game rather than a second group game the team would remain the same.

Don't know what Hoddle is talking about, Ivanovic hasn't returned to form after being left out at all. Mourinho dropped Ivanovic for one game and then when Ivanovic returned, he still played poor against Walsall and Newcastle.
