Chelsea Vs Aston Villa (EPL) 17th October 15:00GMT

We must win. It's that simple.

I hope Jose tries something different for this game. I know it has become quite a cliche to say things like "he can work something out during the international break", but I think this could be the most important break we have to really sort things out.

We don't have much time left, this could be his last chance (I really hope I'm wrong and he stays) to make it right.

-------------------Begovic

Aina------Zouma-------Djilobodji-------Baba

----------------------RLC

------Willian------Kenedy------Hazard

-----------Traore------------Remy

4-1-3-2  with attacking full backs

Bench: New keeper-Terry-Azpil-Matic-Oscar-Ramires-Falcao

At home watching on TV: Ivanovic, Cahill, Fabregas, Costa

Lose the match but show some of those^ keywords, and I'll be happy.

8 step plan to change Chelsea fortunes:

1. Move to a 4-3-3 formation.

2. Play Baba + Azpi until January. Then decide if the pairing needs an upgrade or not.

3. Play Djilobodji next to Zouma. The guy is much better than his name gets credit for and Terry / Cahill are done.

4. Make Loftus Cheek a starter. EOS. Preferably by dropping Fabregas to the bench.

5. Make Bertrand Traore a second choice option in attack. At least give him a chance... Can't be any worse than Falcao or Remy...

6. Willian is the first man on the team list. Azpi the second.

7. Tell Costa to play football, not audition for Jerry Springer.

8. Play Hazard from the bench a few times. Give him a rest and let him be your impact sub.

OPTIMAL SQUAD FOR NEXT MATCH:

-------------------Begovic-----------------------

----------Zouma------------Djilobodji----------

-Azpi--------------------------------------Baba-

----------------------------------------------------

---------------RLC-------Matic-----------------

-Willian-----------Ramires----------Kenedy-

--------------------Traore----------------------

^^ This. Although I'd play Oscar over Ramires.

Time to give other players a go, they can't do any worse than Jose's favourites. I can't imagine how fustrating it must be for the likes of Baba or Djilobodji to not even get a chance when our current defence is so poor.

This ones one day after my birthday, to much to ask for win as a present?

At the moment it s bobby, I was very lucky Arsenal was a day before mine, anyone else would have beaten us lol.

"My job is not so simple because I have to measure the situation and ask myself in difficult moments if the best thing is to keep more experienced players. Can they cope better with the pressure of the moment?"

"You do the same. When I don't play Terry to play Zouma you are the first ones to say immediately: "why aren't you playing the captain?" With Ruben, it's exactly the same thing. Ruben, Matic, Ramires, Fabregas - who can cope better with the pressure? I know Fabregas for sure, but maybe the situation is so negative for us a young player feels less pressure than when the team is top of the league fighting for a victory to be champions."

"Clearly it's time - not to play four, five or six kids because some of them are not ready - but I think Ruben is the one who is more ready. If everything goes normally in the next two weeks yes, he is a player to start the next game and have a run of matches to try to get that stability as a first-team choice."

You have your answer then, that is more or less as close as Jose will come to promising RLC a start next game and possibly some  more after that. We can also see Cesc WILL NOT be dropped and he wont give more than 3 "kids" a chance.

So with that in mind, depending on who JM will classify as a "kid" I would look to go with:

Begovic

Azpi

Zouma (Kid)

Terry

Baba (Kid)

Matic/Mikel

RLC (Kid)

Cesc

Willian

Hazard

Costa

I could see that as a realistic side he would pick, minus the obvious Brana at RB and Azpi over to LB.

Honestly though we need to get back to basics, privately Jose and the boys need to accept the title is gone, forget about the table completely and concentrate on wining a game, this game. Got to start with rebuilding our defense. We cannot go on letting in 2 or more goals a game more or less every game and expect to have a good season. So for me that means we need to sit deeper, protect the defense more and try and nick games by the odd goal, until we can rebuild our shattered confidence.

With that in mind, and it knowing it will not be that popular on here, especially at home to Villa, I would say we should start the game with:

Begovic

Azpi

Zouma (Kid)

JT

Baba (Kid)

Mikel

RLC (Kid)

Oscar

Ramires

Willian

Costa

In this team Ramires protects Dave when he overlaps, same on the other side with Willian and Baba. Mikel sits, Matic could do the job too but his relationship with Jose appears to have gone. either way someone sits, only job is to protect JT and Zouma, play simple, short passes to Cesc, RLC and the wide players.

Try and control the midfield, the possession, then if we can do that and go in to the second half at 0-0 or level in general, can look to change Ramires, Oscar and or/Willian with Hazard, Pedro, Kenedy, Remy or whoever Jose sends on to try and win the game.

Back to basics, get the defense on track first. Try and form a partnership between JT and Zouma, see if the former can help improve the latters overall game.

A negative team, one I do not expect many will want to see, but one I think we need now.

Newcastle worked out great for us too.

well we're usually terrible against them away; we are playing villa at home (of which the record doesn't look quite as bad)

big issue if we somehow lose this. We're not THAT sh*t

We play well for the first fifteen minutes in every game. Let's bag 4-5 goals (it's possible from what's been happening elsewhere recently) and then park the bus.

Anyone who thinks any team in the PL is a "Win" for us at the moment is just dreaming. Any one of the other 19 teams can give us a thorough going over, (and some of them are!)

That 16th place isn't Unlucky, or due to Injuries or fitness , or any other excuse you can come up with; We really are that bad At The Moment.

It's when that changes is the only question.

Jose has to stay and build for the future but he can only do that with Romans backing....all we wanna see is some fresh youth in the side from the academy preferably English ones !

I would like to see

---------------------------Begovic--------------------

-----Dave-----ZOUMA-------TERRY-----R. Baba

----------Ramires------MATIC------L. Cheek-----

----------Willian-----------------------Hazard-------

--------------------------COSTA----------------------

With Matic's only job being to concentrate on protecting the back 4.
