Baba Rahman was hot property before he came to us. Somehow now - solely due to Mourinho's stubbornness - the guy doesn't even get game time. He made a very poor choice in picking Chelsea and if he doesn't start this weekend Mourinho is finished for me.

 

The more worrying thing is that Mourinho has treated many players the same way (not playing time, not giving them a chance to adjust and shipping them out in express manner) and this may be a real deterrent for young players on the transfer market. They will prefer to go to our rivals because over there the will likely at least get a fair chance to prove themselves.

I won't use the words ' must win' anymore, because every time the word was used, we dropped points this season. Jose need to make the right calls ( at least the majority of them) for team selection, and he really need to stamp his authority on those who don't perform. Let's hope Villa shows up on their poor day, because every team we played this season, as long as they showed fight and commitment, they had us in trouble. I believe Costa will inject the much missed energy and aggression, as long as he doesn't go over board again, he will be targeted and teased by their defenders.

That is a very safe bet. And that's the trouble in some ways. Jose makes it very clear who he trusts and who he doesn't and he doesn't change his mind any more. Players who know they aren't trusted play with fear in their hearts.

He was more flexible in his first two seasons.

Surprised to hear that Zouma's likely to be getting the nod at right back. Rahmann didn't look great defensively in the games he played but for the money we paid I assumed he was to be our first choice backup full back.

However, personally don't see any issue with the call. Zouma's played there before, and it means our four best defenders will be on the park. I've got a feeling it could work very well.

Excited for this one. The build up's been positive. Optimistic.

From my recall, Zouma played poorly at full back. 

 

Mourinho's messing up the full back positions and if Villa draws or wins, there's no one to blame except himself.

I'm hoping for a surprise performance by us. Things click, goals come, defense works. 3-1. Willian, Costa and JT.

IVanovic won't play in this match due to injury. 

 

So there's a bit of hope that Chelsea will win this match.

Ivan is mince, his days should be limited to the odd sub appearance as CB, if that, but he is Chelsea...is it just me or does Fab not feel like Chelsea, I loved the few months that he brought some much needed creativity to the team, it was a joy to watch him work his stuff, but he doesn't have the passion to be chelsea material and he does not work in a double pivot at all, he is awful positionally, but it is his apparent half arsedness that bothers me, looks like the waiter on holiday that can't be bothered bringing your dinner over to you, doesn't want to be there, think's you're a w**ker but will stomach you to take your money.

 

I hated him pre-chelsea though he was a twat, like anyone that puts on the blue shirt I get behind them, now my feelings are starting to revert, I don't hate him but I just think he is wrong for us and is a major part of our troubles at present.
