He was acting you fool. It was a job. It's no different from a footballer moving to a different club ffs

Again, I was joking, people are sensitive today, I can see why though.

In that case my apologies. Still in a rage and have been suckling on grandpa's cough medicine

No worries, I just recovered from my rage earlier.

The line above (on the offside diagram) isn't correct. It isn't parallel to the penalty box outline. I think he was still marginally offside, but it wasn't as much as shown above.

A neutral might say we're a bunch of spoilt brats who deserve all we get. We've become a laughing stock, and that is definitely Jose's fault. Let's sort this out quietly on the training ground and start playing football again. We appear to have lost the plot completely

You don't even need a line to see it's offside, it's criminal really, for a player of his calibre he should be onside, no excuses.

a very marginal decision as when the ball is played the only part offside is fabs knee and the advantage is suppose to be given to the attacking player

Anybody on here remember following Chelsea in the late 70s-80s ? if you can you should be able to deal with our current woes. Have a look at the up coming games; we can put things right for sure.

Its not comparable though, back then we weren't in an era where we were an elite team, times have changed. Also as a team of defending champions we shouldn't be where we are at now. That's not been obnoxious or ungreatful it's simply where football is right now.

Haven't read any posts as I decided to stay away from here for a while, so here is my penny's worth.

Johnny Bumsteads overhead backheel against Leeds is all I'm thinking of. Too long in the tooth for nonsense. If this patch sorts the JCL's from me then happy days.

A bag full of Heineken and a 20 pack of ciggies keeps me sane.

Love this club, always have, always will.

I was among those who wanted Jose out. But we have improved in these last 3 games. So i think we need to keep Jose, though we are in these mess as a result of his decisions. Am feeling really bad today, not just because we lost but because the players stepped up there game and yet we were unfortunate to lose. Am very optimistic about our next league match against Liverpool. It certainly a win for us!

Fook it, what was I thinking.

*opens another can and sparks another tab*

We're doomed.

It was close mate, but he should of made sure he stayed back that extra yard, we had them on the chopping block with a 4 v 2 break, and he messed it up. Or maybe it was Willians fault for not passing it to th left to an onside Costa ?

Totally Agree Coco, just highlighting that some bad luck was involved today and it could have turned out a lot different.

Agree with the sentiment expressed in the most recent posts above. Today was made worse by the shambles off the pitch ... on the pitch, we were unlucky not to get away with a draw, I think. Fabregas was probably marginally offside, but 5 times out of 10, that goal stands. But as Cahill eloquently expressed it afterwards ... that is the way it is for us at the moment. We're working twice as hard to get half as much.

Cahill said something else by the way ... "we shouldn't feel sorry for ourselves" ... two matches coming up next week, perfect to just keep playing. We WILL bounce back ... I just hope Mourinho is not axed before it happens. I hate the way we always go into self-destruct mode when we have a bad spell .... We must not let it happen again. If we emerge from this intact as a unit, we will be stronger than ever.

For now, though, cue another monster fine and a ban for our manager ... *sigh* :)

Well if the players are going to follow the managers example, how about bringing the passion and trophies Mourinho has.

So he did it all on his lonesome? thought not.

Oh I totally agree that Fabregas should have held his run better to ensure that he was definitely onside, but as the picture Chippy posted shows that he's onside and should have been given the advantage. It's an incredibly harsh decision to give.

Danny Dyer thinks he's funny trolling Jose, what's funnier is, he's such a massive West Ham fan, that he had no problem in dressing up as a Chelsea supporter in Football Factory, what a loyal supporter.

He's an actor, probably earnt more for that film than many on here do in a year

Some of the twitter Chelsea fans are ridiculous. Suggesting Begovic is 'sh*t' for getting beat at his near post and that he needs to go and whatnot. Really? Begovic has been solid and I would not point any fingers in his direction for the position we find ourselves in now.

Having been at places like Grimsby, Cambridge, Rotherham, etc, whe we really were sh1t, I can live with this bad spell. Not happy, but we'll get out of it in the end
