We actually played reasonably well in the second half at the spammers and we really need to build on that with a settled eleven. Can understand Jose's thinking on this one. The team is full of players who look like they don't want to be on the pitch half of the time while other players that look talented, lively and up for it are kept on the bench or sometimes even out of the squad completely. If we can't give them a chance in a League Cup game when everybody is playing badly then when is the right time?

I can see your point, and with a team not under pressure I'd be saying exactly the same. Tonight is about the result in my eyes,personally I'd have like to see RLC for Ramires but with the manager under pressure for his job I can understand why he's gone tried and trusted.
