I would like to see RLC play 90 minutes against Stoke, AND 90 minutes against Liverpool. That boy has talent, he drives forward like Yaya ... exactly what we need. Oh and Oscar would be nice too ... is he fit? 

We need width from the full backs because time and again it has been proved that we can't break teams through the middle. It will be a refreshing sight to see a change in the system, maybe a 4-3-3 with RLC in the middle? Or even a 4-2-2 with someone like Kenedy getting a start along with Costa.

 

If I were Jose (well...) I'd play every game like we played against Barcelona under him. Let the opposition keep the ball, keep the shape. nick the ball and hit them on the counter. Leave players up front during set pieces to start counters.

 

This is going to be a testing week for Jose's credentials and I can't see him surviving if we fail to beat at least two of the next three opponents in the three competitions.

Winning the capital one Cup should be our priority right now as am not sure we can win any other trophy this season

Surely you mean winning the CL trophy is the priority as we aren't likely to finish in the top 4?

if he plays his usual non-triers will have to go for another defeat.

I would like for Chelsea to go in front and then not immediately then surrender the initiative right back to Stoke by conceding a poxy goal that should have been cleared. I also would like to see Kenedy and Loftus-Cheek get substantial playing time. 2-1 to Chelsea.

Looks like it'll be Twitter updates for those of us that can't go as I'm not seeing any evidence of TV.  Even the Spanish Channel I get is showing teh Arsenal game.

 

I think we'll see a blend of Youth and Experience, because Jose will want to at least show we can still compete in the cups.  Remember his wee slide and celebration with the team after winning the COC last year?

I hope for myself I will enjoy watching this game. It has been a long time since football gave me good vibes. JM Chelsea seems to be very good or very bad.

Absolutely massive game for Jose. Can you imagine the pressure he will be under if he loses? He will be facing huge pressure for the Liverpool game.

For his sake, I'm hoping we win this one. However, even though performances have improved, I just can't see us winning. This will be the last place that wanted to be going.

It could be horrible and nasty.

I could see this one going to a penalty. Let's hope we give the fringe/young players a game, no point over playing those who struggled throughout the season.

I'm sorry but I just didn't see anything on Saturday to suggest we are going to turn this thing around anytime soon.  At this moment we are just waiting to be had by any team especially with confidence so low and everyone playing like crap and the manager seemingly having a mental breakdown.  I just hope the ref doesn't give decisions against us and that there is a calmness within the team.  Any win, even on penalties will do me.....lose on penalties and it will only add to the misery. 

Honest I have not been as nervous about Chelsea since I was a kid back in the 70s. Then you went into every game knowing we had good players but which Chelsea was going to turn up?. Like 1972 LC Final v Stoke ! We had the better players but they won the day. Jose has got to get back to the football; put a team out that will battle for him. This has been a difficult period; but all great managers have them; and come through; even Fergie faced the bullet!. Its a test but one Jose can manage.
