Screw it ... these things are a coin toss, and with our confidence, we were always going to bottle it. Call me crazy, but we were all over them tonight.

Hugely disappointing but I'm not going to get too down over this. We dominated them for 120 minutes and deserved the win.

 

I did notice that wasn't Hazard's normal penalty style - the style which made him the Premier League's best ever penalty taker by percentages at one point. Maybe he changed it after missing one earlier in the season which would be strange.

Hazard can't take pens anymore, Oscar and Willian did his technique just fine, the last few pens from Hazard deviated from his usual routine cause he's afraid of having a weak pen saved and looking silly.

I'm not going to pretend I even care about the result as it's the Capital One Cup. Sure it's nice to win it but not going to cry that we are out. Frustrating again though that we were all over them for the majority of the game and still can't win. Still let them rather cringingly celebrate like they've just won the league and we can concentrate on Saturday's game.
