120 minutes of hard work, all for nothing. At least 7-8 players tonight will play against Liverpool, so let's hope they won't be worn out before the kick off. We deserved everything we got, played almost a full strength team, couldn't beat their half strength team, include 30 minutes against 10 of them. Do we practice attacking moves and shooting in training these days? We looked horrible against 10.

For Christ's sake; listened to this and the players clearly put in a shift for Jose; and its down to pens and knew Eden would fluff it. Good commentary on Five Live; Trevor Sinclair a knowledgeable summariser. Got to get up for Saturday v Liverpool; and move on; just listen to the histrionics now about Jose's future. Personally after the teams performance tonight he should not be any less secure at least.

If you watch preparation before penalties, Jose specifically talks to Hazard - don't pull any stupid fancy sh*t. and Hazard shaking his head - yeah, alright, I understand. You never know what works best for you...

As really annoying it was to lose, we played SO much better and there's reason to be hopeful. We were solid at the back, excellent in midfield. We just lacked that but of quality up front.

I think Jose has to be bold for Saturday. Keep Mikel and Ramires, drop Hazard, play Kenedy and keep Fabregas away from it.

At least it was a better performance, one another day we would have put away one of the many chances we had.

I sort of hear what you are saying mate but I don't buy it completely. We had plenty possession but still largely toothless in normal time. Extra time against ten men was an awful performance bar the first few minutes. We looked utterly clueless about how to play against ten men. Ponderous and lacking ambition going forward. Despite being a man up, when we attacked,we often had three men against seven and,at most, one in the box.
