Leicester v Chelsea - Mon 14 Dec - 20:00

You can all start clapping now.

Edit, that was Paris Hilton's quote, I've forgotten how requote ...

Are you going then? Or are you about to apologise for premature rudeness?

there's a guy posting these in a post match interviews thread but tonight's isn't up yet. did you hear Jose at all?

Only bit that's on the BBC:

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: "We were the best team for 20-25 minutes, maybe for a maximum of 30 minutes. They were best team for an hour.

"When some of your players don't hit the levels they are capable of it is hard to see. This season we are doing so bad for some reason, not all of them.

"To turn things around, I know only one way - working at the top level. Day by day in training I have no complaints with them. But is it frustrating to see what they are doing in training and what they do in matches? Clearly yes."

The bold bit is indeed worrying.

And there's another trophy winning club out there for you and the others glory hunters here...

Lol, you're a proper fan I guess, no glory hunters here mate, try a different forum.

No ...got home late ...you Danny just posted it...thanks......oh dear not a very good interview at all, 'betrayed' is not a good word to use to describe the players that you have to go to work with tomorrow.  Plus the other remarks 'all about him and how good he is'.....not a good situation.  I think he knows that either certain players will be gone in a few weeks or he will be gone by the weekend.  Just can't see him staying around with those sort of remarks which clearly should be kept in the dressing room.

Maybe it's because you are gloating in defeat... which is more or less what you'd expect from a WUM / non-Chelsea fan.

Gloating in defeat? You can't even read. I said earlier in the thread multiple times I hope my prediction of a loss was wrong. It wasn't. We lost, again. We're going to keep on losing again and again. Jose has to stay and half the players have to go in January.

Zeta - that wasn't the bit that struck me most. He explained how he had prepared the team for Leicester's play and Vardy's movement in the box but he felt that "my work was betrayed" by some players. He went on to say that he made some of these players better than they were last season and now maybe we are seeing that they don't have it.

You can all start clapping now.

Welcome back mate. Hope all has been in good health?. Good to see your post once again.

I still like Claudio Ranieri. He's a gentle man and a gentleman. I met him in Rome once in a pen shop, nice guy. Given all the money and hype around the Premier League wouldn't it be a wonderful lesson if Leicester could somehow finish top or even top 4? That team cost less than most clubs spend on hospitality and yet he's got them playing so well. I think for the rest of this season I'll be praying for our survival and hoping that Leicester keep going.

Now who's being insulting.....

No I am staying, laughing at you so called 'fans' , just frothing at the mouth desperate for the man who won the Prem last season with an average squad ,to get the sack.....,pathetic

The margins are too fine in this league to have anyone giving 80-90% and expect a result, our players aren't good enough to get away with that, and we're where we are this season because of it.

It's frustrating to watch, especially just a few days after such a superb shift midweek. Take the worst offender - on Wednesday Oscar had nothing left in the tank when he came off, he gave everything. Tonight he might as well have spent an hour on a sofa for all the exercise he got.

Combine this loss of intensity with the poor-me attitudes and it's no wonder we're losing these games. Three of our most influential players (Costa, Hazard and Fabregas) have looked hopelessly out of their depth when the going gets tough. Selfish attitudes and no desire to dig in and battle through matches.

So same issues for me. We need another central midfielder and a striker. We need bodies on the pitch willing to put everything into the 90 minutes, and with considerably more determination in getting a result. The likes of Lampard, Ballack and Drogba must be stunned to see this side as we are.

Mou post match interview for Chelsea TV talking about passion for football, how lucky the players are, he is, to be involved with our club. Suggesting, IMO , that the players need to acknowkedge this and give a lot more.

Average squad?. Ok I understand, Jose is Jesus-tier now with level of unbelievable things he does.

Evidence please or generalisation? Last time I checked I wasn't emulating a rabid dog, but you clearly know best.

Carragher reckons the players have chucked it. It's what it looks like.

In JT's case I don't think he's chucked it, seemed to just assume Courtois would come for the cross that Vardy scored from. Mentally and physically I think he's done at this level.

If Jose survives beyond tonight's result he has to change things tactically for Sunderland, anything less is just incompetence.

Oscar and Ramires - I really couldn't care less if they become the world class players they should be for Chelsea elsewhere, they need to go hopefully in January.

Edited by the special one

at the end of the Sky interview Jose repeats how good they look in training - I think it's time to look at who puts a shift in during the matches never mind training and make selections based on match performances. It's going to be a rough ride to May.....

Can't see him riding this out

who could we replace him with?

in fact, who would want to take us on in the state we're in? - can't see Carlo jumping at the chance. I made a joke comment about Roman calling Tony Pulis earlier tonight but actually that's the sort of grit and experience we need to pull us out of this hole.

This is it- what we're seeing is what we deserve, it's a series of gutless performances. Players in the Leicester team run their hearts out every week- good on them, our team should be embarrassed.

Not sure if some players were satisfied by one league title, but (I know it's a cliché), if you stand still in sport, you go backwards. Drogba, Ballack, Lampard et al were ultimate professionals, never happy with what they'd won. We still have Terry of that mentality, but in the whole group I think the loss of Drogba and Cech has hit us bloody hard.

Evidence of what ?

Insulting or average squad which one do you want, if you get stuck ask your buddy Floyd for help he likes you.

Ignore him sick of dickheads like him saying we're you not about in the 70s or 80s. It's f**king pathetic,

It pisses me off too Bobby. It's not like he ever says anything positive about the team himself.....actually, from what i can see, he doesn't say ANYTHING about Chelsea. The only time he get's involved with talk about Chelsea is when he is having a go at forum members. What does he expect, for us to say nothing about how sh*t we have been this season ? we are 1 point above relegation with almost half the season done, one season after winning the league, why should we accept that kind of football ?

I'm not going to walk away from Chelsea, i'm not going to stop watching us because we are sh*t, i won't stop watching if we are relegated either, i'll always follow them, but if we are playing sh*t then i am going to say something about it. I'm not going to sit back and say nothing. If he hasn't got time for people's complaints then maybe he shouldn't be on the forum.
