December 15, 201510 yr Just out of interest, who came over? JT, Ivanovic and...? I saw Thibault go over when watching on Sky.
December 15, 201510 yr 50 years I've supported chelsea, many managers and hundreds of players have come and gone my love of 'the CLUB' has never faltered, but for the first time I'm bewildered, confused and numb as to wtf is going on.
December 15, 201510 yr It is simply confusing, we keep having these false dawns aswell where we look like we're back. I his hope lik Dortmund did in th Bundesliga that we can turn this around.
December 15, 201510 yr Woke up at 5am to watch that garbage. First 55 minutes were absolutely the worst we have ever played. Jose has to go, Jose is gonna go but it wont be this season mate it doesnt matter now who comes in we aint got europe and well still be in this position may aswell let jose try and keep us in the prem plus i think the main reason he is still here is because there is no one else atm
December 15, 201510 yr The first half was ...... i think our other players should of given our defenders more help on the second goal scored againts us. Second half was much better lots of serging and pressing them in the box, bit unlucky we could of had a few in the back of the net, but thats that. Pedro's assist to fab header was gold, got me off the seat, this is the stuff that will pay off for us later on, hope the players absorb the positive plays and get hungry for more.
December 15, 201510 yr Started the day Eva Carneiro got kicked out and that may have upset some of the players.... So! Costa wanted gone in the summer, remember!!! so he comes back unprepared and isn't scoring goals! So with someone that is more intent on fighting than scoring and wants to go home; what motivation is there for the team. Branislav Ivanovi? has had a terrible start and no lacks confidence César Azpilicueta has totally lost his sharpness. He's not political so it's something else..... Thibaut Courtois out injured, caused uncertainty at the back Fabergas has slowed to a halt. He gets caught with the ball every time Zuma? Not sure Nemanja Matic totally lost purpose. Once walked through the opposition; now does nothing. Eden Hazard... has basically given up except for a couple of showpieces. Jose has beat him up too much Oscar has been lost for a while. No confidence because he's a bit part player now. Pedro tries but admits it was a mistake to come to England.. Gary Cahill??? John Terry! he can't always be the one to carry all the weight and it's showing on him I don't know; but is there any wonder we are were we are.... Bring back Eva Carneiro.... have a kiss and make up meeting. Jose winds his arrogance back a notch (not all the way) and everyone commits to see the season out and play their hearts out!! If just one tiny bit of the way our players are performing is down to eva getting sacked then they all need to go.they should not be bothered about that where it affects their performance. Anyone who is belongs in the sunday league
December 15, 201510 yr didn't wanna reopen the ramires thread, but had to say what a waste of space he is. he is another who'll have 1 great game and fool all of us into thinking he's gonna keep that form up, then just doesn't turn up for the next 3 games. for a brazilian player whom has played at the highest level for many years, i cannot believe how utterly poor the guy is when in control of the ball, his decision making and passing is abysmal most of the time. the soone we upgrade him the better

December 15, 201510 yr I, like everyone on this thread and all Chelsea supporters am frustrated at what's going down at Chelsea F.C. This all stems from the Eva/Hazard incident, earlier in the season where Mourinho lost his cool and berated Eva, despite the fact that she was ushered onto the field to tend to Hazard by a match official. Mourinho subsequently had Eva demoted and then sacked. Many of our players really liked Eva and thought Mourinho's treatment of her was out of order. There is a clique in this Chelsea side that are not performing for Mourinho. Hazard, Costa, Fabregas, Matic, Oscar and Ivanovic to name but a few but I suspect there are more..If you remember back to Mourinho's last season at Real Madrid, he also fell out with a number of players. By the end of that season the players and the Real Madrid fans were glad to see the back of Jose, so this isn't an isolated incident. Yes, Mourinho won the Premiership last season but our rivals were poor and we were by a long chalk the best side in the Premiership. Now our rivals have strengthened and we have stood still, in fact we've gone backwards. We started last season like a runaway train but eventually decended into grinding out results and the football in the second half of the season was boring. It's a question of who to get rid of.......Mourinho or the players that are'nt playing for him. How we could ship out so many players and find quality to replace them in January is I think impossible. That leaves getting rid of Mourinho. Before Everyone jumps on me, let me say I've always been a massive fan ofr Jose but I've come to the realisation that he hasn't got a clue what he's doing. A few days ago he said a top 4 spot was possible but yesterday he said it was out of the question. He said he'd made up with Costa after their spat but in reality Costa doesn't like mourinho and wants to go back to Spain, Atheletico Madrid have already made enquiries. Hazard wants to go to Rwal Madrid and this dressing room is unhappy. I reckon if a new manager came in the players would start performing and it's Mourinho that's the problem. Add to that Eva suing Chelsea F.c for unfair dismissal and furthermore suing Mourinho in a seperate court case, then this story will run and run. The press will have a field day. There will be two camps either those for keeping Mourinho or those for keeping the players and outing Jose. I would imagine many will side with Mourinho but I'm in the get rid of Mourinho camp. We could well get relegated if this situation continues. Nothing will change if Mourinho and these players finish this season.January will be the time to act. Let's see what Abramovic thinks. He must be pulling his hair out. It's turned into a disaster of a season and Mourinho has been the architect of his own downfall. He's dug himself into a hole that he cannot get out of. SAD DAYS AT THE BRIDGE.
December 15, 201510 yr Just out of interest, who came over? JT, Ivanovic and...? Ivanovic, Dave and Courtois.
December 15, 201510 yr A comprehensive appraisal TBB; but I would not cut Jose loose, because that very well might send us into a tail spin. Last night seriously how good were Leicester ?; they attack as a unit and rely on Mahrez and Vardy to get defenders all in a lather. Dave could and should have dealt with the Mahrez strike; force him on to his right and the through pass to Vardy everyone is just standing still !. We had at least 70% of the possession much of the game; yet could do nothing with it; sideways; backwards and start again was what it amounted to. Oscar got me; was he even on the pitch ?; Hazard did Vardy's brush past really do that much damage he had to limp off ?. Costa never in the right place although he battled and Zouma more like Bambi on ice when the ball came near him. We looked better when Ivan went to centre back; Willian again the lone star; but running up blind alleys. It is so reminiscent of Dortmund last season; who were second bottom in the BLiga by the Christmas break. They recovered in the New Year to finish in a Europa League place and we can do the same. But we need some recruits in January. What's the situation with Patrick Bamford at Palace because we should recall him. He could be our Harry Kane; cannot be any less effective than Costa. If we were in the 1980's Bamford would have been leading the line for us; think Maybank; Langley; Finnestone. Why not trust the kid and put him in; alongside the likes of RLC and Kennedy. We need pace on the flanks and Moses would have added some of that but he's with the Hammers. Far far too many players out on loan who could be doing a job for us now. I firmly believe we need to stick with Jose; he has earned the right to see it through; into the second half of the season and see where we are. Emelano is the one who needs to be held to task over the recruitment of players and for me he goes and not before time. The last thing we need right now is to wake up and find Avram Grant or whoever ushered in temporarily and then we are in a relegation fight.
December 15, 201510 yr Big disappointment, players don't prove themselves and Jose must do something. It's annoying to see the same players losing games and show only one good performance in a month. Players aren't fighting until the end, it seems like they don't care to lose and it's really disappointing. Edited December 15, 201510 yr by IliyaKrostin
December 15, 201510 yr Wasn't it such a shame last night that the one game where Willian had an off night, there was nobody to step up to the mark. We missed in form Willian last night but he alone cannot carry this team every match.

Players aren't fighting until the end, it seems like they don't care to lose and it's really disappointing. I'm not having this not caring stuff. They look bewildered when we lose. They are lacking confidence and some leadership. Look at the performance and reaction against Porto - they do care. They show their frustration as well. Most the players and manager have never been here before and I'm glad they are not used to this. Edited December 15, 201510 yr by Petworth Chelsea Fan
December 15, 201510 yr I see some people still get fooled, if the players are tired of the manager, will they show it in the most obvious manner to the public?
December 15, 201510 yr Worst season ever Granted it's not good, but we're only half way through December. Worse case scenario, we will still support Chelsea!

December 15, 201510 yr In a perverse way, I'd quite enjoy a season in the Championship... Tickets will be cheaper hopefully, and rid the club of it's tourists. Edited December 15, 201510 yr by dan_cfc
December 15, 201510 yr Worst season ever I've seen far worse than this. Granted this is the worst I can recall us playing for nearly over 20 years now.
December 15, 201510 yr Every PL Game we start tentatively and don't really come into life until we go behind and end the game falling just short or alternatively score first and go into a slumber. Yesterday was a prime example of how our mentality as a team changed after going 2-0 down, They pressed Leicester higher up and didnt give them any time on the ball, that should be happening right from the first whistle not once we are 2-0 down.
December 15, 201510 yr Tickets will be cheaper hopefully, and rid the club of it's tourists. I was in the West Stand Lower for the Porto game (normally Matthew Harding Lower, but missed the initial sale) and it's beyond a joke how many tourists were in there. Just another item on the itinerary to tick off, while many real fans miss out because of cost. I've actually heard from some Championship club supporting mates of some extortionate prices down there too.

Leicester are a decent, well organised team but everyone knows the two real danger men are Mahrez & Vardy. It's not as if it's a well-kept secret - every f**ker has them in their fantasy football team, including Me!!. So who cause the damage? Surely our guys had been well-drilled over & over about how to play Mahrez & Vardy but no, they still manage to inflict the damage. I like your comparison to Dortmund though - it at least gives me some hope!
