Maybe reading too much into that tweet, could be just lost in translation. However, a really strange tweet from the official account to call out player injury like that. His immediate problem be getting registered into the league, maybe a loan to Westham is on the cards if Barca can't pull a rabbit out of their ass soon 😄

Poor guy, on top of everything else :shok:

Possibly family stuff anything else and he's a mad man, He makes more money a week kicking a football than most people would die for!

Someone should take him on a ride around some of the Spanish ghettos maybe he'll snap out of it!

It's been assumed for a while now that Christensen has some sort of mental illness, possibly anxiety.

I wouldn't call anxiety a mental illness, That's a survival mech

Same for paranoia, Designed to keep you wary of danger and predators although can get super bad i suppose like anxiety

How would going to barca help your anxiety? Probably flared right up as he doesn't even know if he will get paid or even registered right now!

He wants to see my income and my bills, He'd be in hospital before the pen rolled off my desk!

Speaking from personal experience, it doesn't matter what job you have, or where, or how high or how low the wages are, the anxiety is there. Pointing to some who are worse off in life than you isn't helpful either, as it doesn't address the root of the problem.

What i meant was we all have anxiety's and problems, The true mark of a person is not how they fall off the horse but how they get back on it.

I have mentally disabled relative's so its actually a tad annoying when you see celebrity's and the twitteratti gaslight mental illness's or at least conflating feelings and actual mental disability's and the like!

It would be good to know whats going on with him from a legit source but hoo humm

Onwards we march

Quite possibly the most moronic post I've ever seen I was going to comment further but the weirdo has been banned so no need. He's been @MasonsMount  then @Kantesmini think a good user name for him something like Cech's Helmet if he comes back with emphasis on the helmet.

His follow up post was just as bad. I could have really gotten into it with him but I have learned that some people are too ignorant about certain things and will never change their way of thinking, so I didn't bother. Some people think that anxiety is just being a bit shy or nervous and it's something you need to suck up and deal with. In my experience, you can never change that type of thinking in a person until they experience it in themselves or see it affect people they know on a daily basis.

I have no idea if English is your native language or not, but anxiety refers to both common worries and a shorthand for a psychological disorder ie generalised anxiety disorder. It is speculated that Christensen deals with the latter although from absolutely no good source other than Twitter gossip based on an assumption that stomach cramps = anxiety.

It's this myth that somehow if you're rich you are happy and that your immune to personal problems. Imagine a mental health specialist saying ok for your anxiety I'm suggesting you go round the crack dens of Barcelona at 3am that will do you the power of good what a berk !!
