Who should be our new captain?

Featured Replies

No clear candidate for me. Ivanovic and Cahill are no certainties to be in the team. Cesc is perhaps not viable given his history.

Not out of the question that a new player a Bonucci or Hummels if we were lucky enough to get them could be captain

I feel like that may not go over well with some of our players

I dont remember us finishing 9th in the league or EVER being 17th with 1 point above the relegation zone in DECEMBER with the likes of JT, lamps, DD, cech, cole.

So how can you compare "their" poor seasons (despite being continous CL semi-finalists, top3 in PL, a domestic cup almost every year) to this sh*t on a stick performance and football, is well beyond me. But whatever helps to sail your boat.

Every squad once in a while gets in some trouble. Their might be in-fights and problems, but the club still comes the first. DD had a problem with scholari because he was not getting selected despite having some medical treatment. These players just sold the club and everything with it down the line for half a season. Comparing their characters to the likes of JT, DD, Lamps should be blasphemy.

We may not have finished mid table but don't act like those players didn't give months of sh*t patches at times. Things had to be shaken up then to get us out of those slumps. End if the day those players let managers and the club down at times too.

Months of sh*t patches is "FORM". Cesc was horrendous for a whole year. Since the start of 2015 to the day jose was sacked.

What the f**k!!! what the actual f**k. you dare compare c**ts like cesc to DD, JT, Lamps stating that they had "patches" of slumps too to try and make a point about cesc being a captain for us, so how can i NOT compare their characters. EVERY player in the history of football has a bad patch, but the best players with the best characters grit it out in the end. And that is the basic thing which you expect from your captain. Not one whose "lack of form" can easily be replaced by "does not give a f**k".

Just wouldn't feel and look right if Fabregas was captain. Call it petty if you want but that's just the way I see it. Besides, he doesn't need the armband to lead. I think Cahill would be perfect, with Apzi taking over afterwards or maybe even being vice captain, but I'm not sure if Conte will fancy him.

Oh f**k off you boring c**t, clearly you don't understand

how do you feel after watching terry's last game for the blues?

It is sad if his Chelsea career finishes this way, but it is football. We will know in the off-season if he will resign or not.

:lmao:

Insecure much? You sure like to put words in people's mouths don't you? Learn to read nob head

Oh. so what exactly did you want to prove while writing "been here a lot longer". If thats not insecurity then what is, you dickheaded fat keyboard-internet warrior.

Why dont you come down to the bridge on the 15th may. And we can have a heart to heart since you seem to have such an issue with me. I will PM you my details and the pub and we can meet.
