Don't want to open up a new thread, but would anyone take a punt on having Sturridge back ?

Be healthy first. Sterling has eclipsed him. IMO

In order not to get fleased I think we would need to take a risk some where.

I think its actually our weakest area on the pitch, Pedro and Willian both do a decent enough of job but you can see room for an upgrad, it's like between them two plus maybe Fabregas we kind of have what hazard offers on the other side. Maybe Draxler

I like what I'm seeing in Draxler. huge potential from the kid.

Is he playing? Thought something was going down with him

TBH I'd take Sturridge if he's available

I think Wolfsburg no longer want to play him since they are sure he'll be leaving.

Sturridge is  a better option since he already has knowledge about English football.

Ah right I knew I'd read something.

Back to the Vardy red card. What i don't understand is how the ref can send Vardy off for that, but doesn't send Rojo off for the same thing only a few days ago. These refs don't make things easy for themselves. All we ask for is consistency.

I think that is a little harsh on the ref, he made an error on the weekday and today made the correct call.

Just because he made an error on a 2 footed challenge doesn't legitimise anyone repeating that sort of tackle in games he officiates and use inconsistency as an excuse.

Ridiculous amount of luck West Ham had, should have conceded 2 or 3 if not for the goal post or bar, then the penalty.

United is finally on that winning run again, I expect the Neville brothers talk up their potential 15 on a row if they manage another couple of wins.

Hello again fellow enemies...

Nice to visit a forum where you can read some objective and sane comments about opponents. Redandwhitekop, bluemoon and arsenalmania makes me lose faith in the human race :face_palm:

One thing I was curious about was what other fans thought of Bailly? I have to be honest and say that I had never heard of him prior to this summer... and I've been playing football manager for ages

I'm not saying it does legitimise it and i don't think i am being unfair. He must have known that Rojo went in two footed the other day because he booked him. It's well known that those tackles are straight red cards now, i don't think for a second believe the ref forgot about that. I personally think he bottled it. United have been complaining a lot about decisions going against them this season and i think that was playing on the refs mind.

I totally agree mate, I was here last year where given the team's form this place would have imploded had it been any other forum but despite some over reaction there was still a lot of sanity on show which makes you respect the Chelsea fans, Was a great touch by the club the other night to take care of Bradley the Sunderland fan with cancer also, The club gets a lot of unnecessary stick imo, It's sort of hip to bash them because you know apparently they are racist or something.

I think he has enormous potential, similar to our very own zouma, very athletic and powerful. Unfortunately it looks like he may be a bit injury prone though, not had a lot of luck this season.

Expect a few goals tonight between Arsenal and City, nothing better to view than Wenger under pressure.

I'm hoping for a 2-2 draw but failing a draw I want a City win rather than an Arsenal one.

I completely agree with the general vibe of your comment I just thought the inconsistent part was a little unfair, he made an error and I am sure he must have reviewed his performance post match and made amends with the Vardy call.

I do believe some refs are inconsistent from game to game but I would take a inconsistent ref over a consistently awful one every day.

Hopefully Arsenal and City will play for a draw, got a feeling that City will win today.

I'd rather have City win then Arsenal though. Draw would be perfect, if not a City win is alright for me.
