Joe Hart got a tremendous reception tonight, seems the City fans appreciate him more than ol Pep.

To be fair, It was a class move by Pep because at least he got a good send off and the fans got an opportunity to say goodbye, It would have been really bad had Caballero played tonight in a meaningless game and Joe didn't get that opportunity, It would have been typical modern football had Caballero started, Gunn on the bench and Hart not in the squad, Plus Hart had a 100 percent pass accuracy which i thought was funny.

I guess it was in that he gave him a farewell in a game that was over but I think he's treated him really poorly aside from that. Proper can't stand Guardiola think Mourinho gets sh*t for his ego but Pep's is just as big.

Yeah I despise Pep.

I completely agree, he's an innovator and quite possibly a genius who has been responsible for some of the best football I have ever seen in my life.

I can understand a certain level of rivalrous irritation based on his history with Barca, but genuine hatred seems completely excessive.

I found his Bayern side were very meh to watch for the most part and they were playing far better football under 'Jupp'.

Nowhere close to being a genius for me.

Well for me I think just the way he carries himself is that he thinks he's better than everyone. I just get that vibe from him.

Add to that the way he treated the medical staff at Bayern (I know Jose did the same and I did not defend him either).

He's talked about the right way to play football in the past and I find that mentality a load of tosh.

Lastly his teams bore the f**k out of me.

Also, what is it that people hate so much about Guardiola? Is it simply the association with Barca?

Think I'd liken that to a Duran Duran / Spandau Ballet type situation. If you're a fan of one, you can't admit to liking the other!

So Mourinho die hard fans can't give Guardiola any credit as it would be like being unfaithful!!

Arsenal on the verge of signing Deportivo striker Perez for £17.5 mil.

Anyone know anything about him?

I've never heard that haha I like Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet

Yeah there's definitely some of that but I think I'd still dislike him based on what I said above.

Shame on You!!!

Reports in Spain saying Deportivo reject Arsenal's 20m Euro offer for Lucas Perez Martinez because they wanted to pay in two instalments.

Some journo just tweeted that, 3,2,1.... :laugh2: :laugh2:

That's real right? Please tell me it's real? :laugh2:

Hilariously enough after Leicester-Arsenal I was unfortunate enough to be walking back towards town in the middle of a group of Gooners. One little twattish-looking kid started singing "We want Wenger out" and was completely ignored. The part I really enjoyed was that, upon hearing this, some Indian lad who was clearly pissed out of his mind then started yelling "We love you Arsène" over and over again, amid the odd cry of "ten more years" and things like that. The twat then started yelling abuse at the Indian lad, getting more and more aggressive, but was completely ignored and then went totally silent after he got one stern look from a copper. What a little milksop!
