Hodgson has destroyed Kane

Hodgson didn't know what to do with the pace of the English Spurs players; we took a genuinely, pacey and competitive team to the Euros and Roy played a slow game.

I've still not read anyone who explains, sensibly, WHY Roy made that choice. Incomprehensible.

Early onset dementia?

Hey, it's more sensible than any other explanation you'll get.

Every team now has at least one point after the third game.

Who would you have preferred? I admit it was very odd, but I'm not sure the other players would have done a better job. It's not like things got better when Rooney took them. Maybe Lallana would have been the best option.

Kane taking set pieces was weirder in my opinion.

By the way, statistically corners are very overrated.

If I remember correctly Kane started slowly last season aswell

Maybe he is one of those players that starts season's slow, Lampard was like that with us, then once he got going, he didn't stop.

Watching the hull v utd match and it looks like the dissent rule has been forgotten about, or us it just for those foreign types.

Troy Feeney berated the referee today at HT. He wasn't booked but taken into the referee's room for a cosy chat instead. He got booked in the second half. Wonder what MOTD will say tonight?

Hoping Ploks didn't drown at the King Power Stadium today...

Got absolutely f**king soaked - I was right at the front as well so there was no shelter whatsoever. The match was a farce by the last 15 minutes, the floodlights on the West Stand went out and the players could barely keep their footing.

Decent game though, Leicester looked far better with Amartey in midfield instead of Mendy. Mahrez still doesn't look like he's ready for the season but the rest of the team were more or less back to their best.

Read something about Vardy is struggling to get back to his form last season. Any truth to that old guru of all things East Midlands in nature?

Off the ball he's the same as ever (i.e. indefatigable) but his finishing was pretty erratic in the first two games. This afternoon he was fine, had one major chance and took it well.

Rooney on left Rashford right Ibra central and Pobga joins him, Utd basically got 4 up front

Ah bugger...
