The distance the managers have to stand from the dugout is almost comical (are those tracks for carts between the sidelines and dugout?). Must be a terrible view for the fans

That just look's ridiculous.

With all the talk of how Arsenal and Chelsea are both looking at strikers and Lacazette and Lukaku are mentioned, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Rashford? Surely a £25/30 million bid would comfortably do the trick and in today's market that's not much especially when donkeys like Deeney and Benteke are valued at the same price. Mourinho clearly doesn't rate him as a starter plus with Rooney and Martial available they don't have a shortage of strikers. Would you lot have Rashford? I rate him very highly not just because he tore our defence to shreds last year but because of how good he looked for England, Rashford isn't some overhyped English player for me, The kid has it plus he's humble and got a good work ethic.

Would you swap him for Sterling ?

Would you swap him for Sterling ?

2 games ago, I'd have said in a heartbeat, Now and with Iheanacho's development probably not plus they'd never sell us an academy product in a million years. At Arsenal i could see him doing a Walcott or Ox, and that is deteriorating due to the structure plus the demanding 'nah blood' fans, At Chelsea, I could see him complementing Costa very well.

Liverpool could be set to become the richest club in the Premier League, with a £800million takeover bid from China, backed by the Chinese government, reportedly on the table. (Sunday Times)

It's one thing being bought by a football mad Russian billionaire who lives in London and attends virtually every match, but being bought by a conglomerate backed by the Chinese government? How does that sit with the history of any club in England, particularly perhaps Liverpool? If this goes through, a club which many love (though not I), will become simply a commodity, Bejing's trophy wife. You could say it would mark the end of the natural progression of football in England, there's something really odd about the idea of foreign governments buying clubs, wealthy football mad individuals I can take, but governments?

I'll test opinion with a few Liverpool supporters I know but I think most of them would be gutted if this were to happen.

Some fans don't even get seats

Stamping out the less desirable side of football seems to be the remit for refs this season.

Refs seem to be taking the dissent rule seriously and look to be unlawful holding too. Wouldn't surprise me if we start seeing more cards for diving too.

Can't say I object to any of it.

Can't see any of it being jumped on in the Champions League. Imagine the penalties Pepe would concede on his own!

No chance of UEFA enforcing this clampdown.

Yes, yes and yes again.

See the topic in the rumours section.

You'll never wok alone

there are seats there covered up....yet people are standing up on concrete with no seat or barrier in front of them....how is that safe?

This on the day where reports of Everton having doubts over signing Hart have emerged, With Bravo on the 1.15 flight from Barcelona to Manchester, Hart could very well have to do his best Richard Wright impression this year and be 3rd choice keeper, Let's see.

Pep's clearly taken a disliking to Hart for whatever reason.

Going to be interesting because Hart will find himself stuck for a new club soon most of the top Premier League clubs are pretty set for a decent goalkeeper. Us, United, Arsenal, Spurs all have keepers better than Hart.

Could see West Ham going for him maybe? Rumours today are that Everton are put off of Hart's loan fee and wages which would apparently be £7m for the year.

FC, I think it's Hart's attitude, Him and Kompany both have this hard man, billie big balls attitude which Mancini griped about towards the end of his time, Then having watched how lackluster they were at times under Pellegrini, It's not hard to imagine those two switching off whenever they do not agree with the manager's tactics or decisions. Let's not forget the dressing room revolt under Mancini should never have happened, How is a manager trying to lay down the law a bad thing? This time the difference is, Any dressing room revolt will get met with a meeting by Sheikh Mansour himself as it's Pep in charge, Maybe Hart tried telling Pep how he doesn't care about sweeper keeping and his job as a gk is to save shots etc.

Why on earth would United sell our best young prospect, who we have developed through our academy, to a rival? Especially when we, clearly, do not need the money. The only example of us doing this was with Welbeck who was much older and didn't look to be of a sufficient standard to be starting for us.

Of course Rashford wasn't going to be playing every game this season as to rely on an 18 year old is an incredibly silly idea. He is a great talent and has a very big career ahead of him at United with only two 30+ year old strikers ahead of him. In today's prices, regardless of the fact that United are pretty secure financially, Rashford would demand a £50m fee. No one would pay that for him and United would not accept anything less.

Poor Joe Hart. Seems like it's time to wake up and smell the roses. I did used to like him but as time has gone on, he has come across as a Billy Big Bollox, which is fine when you are far and away the No.1, but you end up looking like a mug when your form deserts you as Hart's has.

Fair play to Guardiola - he isn't taking any sh*t from the big ego's and Hart will have to face the consequences. He'll have more time for his shampoo commercials anyway.

Ronaldo broke into your first team an cemented a spot as an 18yo,.  So not such a 'silly' idea.

Good player but don't think he'll become an 'elite' CF in Ibra's league, for me he's just a young player who has hit his potential ceiling early. He can do for United what Kalou did for us. I wouldn't take him over Bertrand Traore personally.
