Agree. Its pointless. What club is going to take on one of our players, for four months, and play him over one of their own? Unless its with an option for a second year (which would be even dumber) I cant see it. Anyway, its a moot point. He isnt going out on loan

Lots of clubs would take Batman on loan in the premiership. I reckon many clubs in Europe too.

Football is about the here and now and if Batman could score the goals to keep a club up then they would take him.

I take the point Batman staying and training with the players and manager but hoping on a cup run till about the quarter finals to only get a start while warming the bench every other time is not a great situation to be in.

He would get many more minutes out of loan.

didn't he reject west ham or spurs to come to us? and this is what he got? not even a fair chance to prove himself.. It's completely just a matter of the manager's personal preference.. If that's the case, I wonder what's the point of a loan move from the player point of view? He might as well just look else where.. From sturridge to lukaku and then kdb, it's a waste of time..

Conte better have a better replacement for wasting such talent in batshuayi coz if he doesn't, he'll look stupid.. just like pep who look stupid now for replacing hart with bravo..

Obviously he is not a Conte signing. And it looks like Conte wants to frustrate him out of the team so Abramovic can give him the financial backing to get his own preferred type of forward.
I pray Mitchy has the sort of patience of Moses so he can just get a temporary loan rather than right off his chances and get a permanent move away.

What are you basing this ridiculous fantasy on exactly?

mate bugger off to redcafe's chelsea thread this united fan treblewinning talks like you and have an agenda against conte like you, you two will be best buds i reckon, oh wait a minute, could it be?

I find the whole idea that Conte is somehow sabotaging Batshuayi because it wasn't his signing ridiculous.

I don't know about you, but I'd never hire a manager in any business that petty and I doubt Abramovich would either.

Michy will play when he proves good enough and able to fit into the tactical instructions required of him in whatever system he is asked to play in.

Batshuayi's time is going to come, perhaps as soon as next season when we'll be back in the UEFA. If he's not patient enough to wait well then adios I guess

A loan move to another team in january would be terrible. At least here he gets to train with the first team and has the chance to earn some playing time. Getting four months at a new club doesnt give him much time to crack the starting 11, chances are he would sit on the bench and  get 5-10 minute cameos

He will work straight into the starting line of most teams like Arsenal, Tothenham, Liverpool, Everton etc, he has the potential to be miles better than Lukaku.

Well let's all ignore the facts and accept Conte likes Batshuayi as his second choice striker then.

Would get nowere near the starting 11 in those teams at current level.

He wouldn't get in ahead of the strikers at any of those 4 clubs you've mentioned.

Giroud and Sanchez are far better.

Kane is far better.

Firmino and Sturridge are better.

Lukaku is far better.

What facts?

FWIW I think Conte agreed to sign Batshuayi, but that was before he decided against playing 4-2-4 in favour of 3-4-3. Clearly Conte just doesn't rate him as a lone CF. I'd have no qualms if we sold him and replaced with Llorente, Tammy can give us the option of 2 up front next season.

Giroud, Sturridge, Firmino? Are you sure?
Tothenham's second choice striker is likely the worst in the EPL right now but he has had lots of minutes more than Mitchy.

With respect I'd take Giroud or Firmino over Batshuayi any day of the week.

Well when Moses, Debruyne weren't given a chance here, we thought they were sh*t. Many of us would have compared them with any sh*t player out there. That's life.

True, but why risk compromising our form to give him a chance? What has he done to merit walking into the team? It's Lukaku all over again - for me we either sell or he should go out on loan and prove himself at another PL team. Man City are giving Iheanacho a chance and look how that's working out for them.

Who's asking for Batman to start? When Aguero is fit how often does Iheanacho start ahead of him?

Anyone really think De Bruyne was sh*t after his year in Germany?

At least he got about 10 minutes on Saturday, didn't impress anyone with his clumsy touches. He just has to work hard and take his chances, Conte isn't the typical of manager whos' afraid to throw in young players in battles.

I don't really get the debate in this thread. If Batshuayi was kicking up a fuss and saying he wanted to leave because he's not playing i could understand but the lad is knuckling down in training and defending his manager on social media. Stick with him til the end of the season at the very least, the lads only just turned 23 and has bags of potential. Laughable seeing people say sell and replace him with Tammy, then they'll be saying the exact same thing next season when Tammy isn't being played.
