I think what Conte has already brought is we look like a group who is not very easy to beat. RM game was a fluke in terms of their goals but otherwise we've been pretty good considering our defending looks amateurish at times.

I really like the way we transit in attack especially when we win the ball back, try to get it forward as quick as possible even if the ball had an akward bounce.

we havent done too badly in the first10 years, but this 2 years is getting worse and worse

Ivan - cahill - JT together is a lost cause, don't know why anyone would even consider that option at this point??  If we're not going to buy a CB, at the very least try out the likes of miazga, chalobah instead of trying the same struggling players.. 

 

We'll see how conte deals with it, hopefully he picks team based on real quality..

I have changed my stance on how I think we will line up for the first game.  New lineup:

 

                  Tibo

Ivan - Cahill - Terry - Azpi

                 Kante

   Oscar       -        Matic

Willian         -             Hazard

                 Costa

 

I don't think Conte rates Fabregas very highly.  Oscar also does more work.  Ivan and Matic starting due to experience.  Cuadrado and Batshuayi have looked fairly good, so I think they are first two off the bench.  Hopefully Aina shows enough that he is starting come mid-season.  

Cant wait to start the season with a bang, 4-1 to Chelsea.

Think that defence will struggle against Carrol and West Ham will put someone on the left wing who can ruin Ivanovic, his the clear weakness.

Roman is quite clearly a Chelsea fan through and through, he's not going to let the club just go to sh*t. We also won the league within these awful 2 years so it isn't that bad.

Could be a tough game to start with West hams attacking wingers but if we go by Ivans form last season. Then it could be tough for him.

I think it's more so that he wasn't sure who he should partner Cesc with as to why he hasn't been playing the last couple of games. He needed to see all other partnerships and I think he'd be mad not to start Cesc.  In what way does Oscar do more work?  How is Matic more experienced than Cesc?
