Jao Mario pushing him out of the team doesn't bode well

 

Joao Mario isnt pushing him out the team, Brozovic has wanted to leave for a while he wanted to go to Juventus but Inter said they wont sell him to a rival. Mario was signed by Inter because they are letting Brozovic go, but if we dont hurry up and sign him he may get stuck there at Inter where he is already unhappy.

Yeah but why do we need him? Play the game...let him rot for a few days and come in hard and cheap last minute...it's a CB and LB that we need...wouldn't pay any more than €20m for him...sick to death of this club being butt-frigged by Italians...

So thats Kante, Matic, Cesc, Oscar, Mikel, Nate, RLC, Brozovic for 3 positions

while JT, GC, Iva, Azpi, Zouma, Aina for 4 positions.

 

Really not surprised why we are in a position we are.

yes because Chelsea are clearly not trying to sign defenders. 

We did not want to pay an extra 10mil for Kalidou and yet are throwing away 30 mil for a player in whose positions we are stacked.

The disrespect for matic here in the forum is a disgrace , the guy was such a massive factor in us winning the league and it's so evident based on how much we struggle now that he's been a completely different player. I'm pretty shire he knows he's not in great form and maybe he never becomes what he was, but to call him a bum or junk etc... Personally I think going to to level of abuse he gets is disgusting

another average player is just what wee need, for f**k sake atleast try to bring midfileder/winger who can score some goals. our board = bunch of retards

To be fair, Matic was absolutely rubbish in the second half of that season and in the first half we were shipping in goals. He was important for sure, but lets not act like we wouldnt be close to winning without him

Haven't watched him at all other than highlight reels but he looks like a good, two footed technical midfielder with a good range of passing.

Anyone seen him enough to give a proper assessment?

Who would he be replacing, anyway?

Matic is playing ok right now as far as I'm concerned. Still I'm feeling depressed about not getting in any defenders two seasons ago.

We had Felipe Luis who I watch playing for Athletico regularly. Such a good player.

We didnt concede that many, but it wasnt untill Mourinho put on the breaks sonewhere around January we looked solid defensively, that also put a stop to out offense but thats the price tou pay. It really isnt exaggarating he was exactly the way hes been this last season. Constantly giving the ball away, always out of position, never tracking runners etc. Hes had a calender year of great play, after that hes been poor and it doesnt seem to be turning around for him any time soon, best scenario for the club and him is to cut ties and move on imo

Mystery what has happened to him. Was literally the player I enjoyed watching most. Yes, even above Hazard and the other creative players.

The only chance he'll get back to his old form is if Jorge Jesus is hired as a coach. :]

€30m for this guy...no chance...Inter want Cuadrado and have major money worries after buying Mario and Barbosa...I wouldn't offer any more than €20m and then make sure it's partly paid through performance too...

Well no, I don't know for me he just seems the type that won't score often, contribute anything defensively (not due to a lack of work rate but where he may play, i.e. advanced #8 etc), or pick out a pass like Cesc can. Admittedly I haven't seen much of him, however. I guess what I'm trying to say is £25.5m represents a risk that he may be sh*t (granted the same can be said for anyone else we're looking to sign).
