I was being sarcastic. I think your 30m Young summer forward deserves a few more mins in the prem. He has barely played. If reports are true and he wasn't Contes signing then would explain a lot because not bringing him on makes no sense.

Much better in the second half controlled the game Kante and Alonso the stand outs. Granted Hull were sh*t second half but we seemed to get to grips with the new formation and look pretty solid and played at a good tempo.

Good win 3 points clean sheet can't ask for more.

It was a good win, seems like the 3-5-2 formation could work well for us, Zouma and Terry are back for the next game, interesting to see what Conte will do. 

We scored great goals today, Costa deserved that goal after his hardwork on the pitch, Willian with a nice goal as well. Also good to see a youngster getting involved, even if it's 6 minutes.

Moses has been very good today, I think Conte didn't have to put Pedro, Moses could finish that game. Also, there is an improvement by Alonso, very attacking defender and I like that.

Matic has been awesome today, together with Kante, they both the reason behind our victory today, they cleaned and stopped Hull.

I agree. People keeping asking for Batshuayi to play but we can't risk both of our strikers on the field, especially if it's not needed. We were 2-0 up today, there is no point throwing a player on for the sake of it. People need to realise that we only have 2 strikers in the first team, we need to be careful with them.

I can see a back 3 of Terry Zouma and Luiz pace and experience

Yea they said emanoil insisted on him, but he seems to be a top young talent, what's to complain about. He starts behind lukaku in the belgium squad, he is young, won't lead teh line at any top club for a couple of years, by which time costa will be nearly 30, also remember costa has been pushing for a move back to Spain, this way we are not held to ransom having only 1 good striker. 

Decent second half from us, they will struggle to stay up though on that showing.

International and club football are just abit different. You think Chelsea signed him and said we signed you but you won't play unless Costa gets injured or till he leaves. If he knew that he would never have joined.

If you sign a young talent you get them involved and playing. Also you can protect your main forward from injuries you know. A forward who is prone to injuries.

Bran the weak link. Alonso should keep his place. We won with two great goals but I do get frustrated that Conte is not using the subs earlier. Fabregas and Batman must be as frustrated as I am but 3 points is 3 points. Onwards and upwards.

Drop Ivan, defence improves, team improves. Why didn't we think of that?

Of course they did, but they would have said you need to fight for a place with Diego, are you under the impression he thought he would walk into the first team and bench Diego? Come on mate.

It's crazy to think you spend 30m on a forward and he never plays. Don't worry Batman your get some game tome only when Costa is suspended ;)

Did you forget we were going to spend 60 mil on Lukaku after we signed Bats? He knew his role.

we were sh*t in the first half, luckily Hull were equally as sh*t. the second half was different though, we slowly got better while Hull were really dire. it's like their minds were not on the pitch. no pressure whatsoever, all the time and space in the world. good win nonetheless, but need to be better in the next match

Your missing the whole point. Batman barely plays, I'm not asking him to start. Get it right.

Need to be a lot better going forwards in the future. At least defensively we are looking more solid.

He came on for at least half the games this season, plus it's early, what would you suggest, to take an in form Costa off after 60 minutes every game or to change the formation to accommodate him  every game half way through to keep a young talent happy? I don't know what you are expecting?
