Obviously he wasn't good last year but am I the only one who thinks Fabregas is too good to be sitting on the bench week in, week out?

Alonso has slowly improved this game, but maybe it's because the game has become more open.

Good second half but just don't see what Oscar brings to this formation alongside Kante and Matic in central midfield. Strange substitution from Conte.

Very enjoyable second half from us, we completely dominated and i thought we looked far more comfortable in defence today. 

Alonso had a good game i thought, i would go with him for man of the match.

Nope, good performance. For some odd reason, Hull just completely lost the plot in the second half, but I am happy with that. Good win!

It was also good to see Courtois have a good game, i have been very critical of him but he came up with 2 good saves today ( one was world class after a deflection on the free kick ) and he looked comfortable in the air too.

If costa gets injured which he is prone to you have a proper back up not remy and if you need to switch to 2 up front you can or need an impact sub, competition for costa who it seems to have given a push, in case of a dip in form switch ot strikers freshen things up,  many many reasons, I'm happy to have him, he is young, hopefully a long term player for us
