November 3, 20169 yr 1 win in 5 for Everton. Including 2 losses against Burnley and Bournemouth. We should comfortably dispatch them on Saturday. Wouldn't be surprised if they upped their game against us.
November 3, 20169 yr We now have a fully fit squad, even Zouma and Van Ginkel aren't on the injury list any more. Only player that is out is Fabregas he even confirmed it on his official page. Conte will probably start the same team who had a week to recover, he now has plenty of players to rotate. Somehow i am not comfortable at all even due to our majestic form, think it will be an edgy game. 2-1 for the Mighty Blues Edited November 3, 20169 yr by TrueBlueBIH
November 3, 20169 yr I would like to see Traore in Pedro's place. He has pace and we all saw what he can do in front of goal. It's a shame he's out on loan.
November 3, 20169 yr I would like to see Chalobah start this one considering Everton's injury list in midfield, although Matic and Kante are irreplaceable at the moment. I would like to see him come on in the second half to replace one of the two anyway, and that seems to have happened as of late anyway!

November 4, 20169 yr After the last 4 epl games, changing team might not sound like a good idea but I feel we can still improve.. -- Azpi -- Terry -- Zouma -- Moses -- Kante -- Alonso --- Cesc ---- Hazard --- -- Bats ------- Costa -- Willian, pedro, matic can always come on later or even start depending the situation... I still think cesc can contribute significantly.. why can't he? when he has kante and hazard who can interact with him intelligently and costa, bats, alonso, moses who constantly giving him plenty of options with their running, it's tailored made for him to shine.. sure matic is looking solid at the moment but what cesc can bring to the table would outweight his contribution.. Work ethic and team spirit are high at the moment, completely different to last season, it gives me a lot of optimism..

That was Vangotone who said that. All I said was I'd have liked to have seen Traore playing the Pedro roll . . Not sure how you even got the posts mixed up.
November 4, 20169 yr Watched some of Traore in the Europa league. Did well for ajaxs first goal but not too much else
November 4, 20169 yr I think we'll actually destroy Everton. They have key players missing (apart from Lukaku, he will have the game of his life no doubt) and morale is very high in the Chelsea camp. With Kante, Pedro and Hazard on the pitch, we will run them ragged. 3-0
November 4, 20169 yr Currently out for Everton: Stekelenburg, McCarthy, Kone, Baines, Beši?. I'd say they only really miss Kone and Baines.

I'm sure Stekelenburg is their first choice keeper and McCarthy was a starter in the middle last season. Kone wouldn't get in the team so his injury makes no difference.
November 4, 20169 yr I had assumed Robles was injured, but it seems like Koeman just doesn't really fancy him as a starter. In addition to the above, I also read that Gueye is injured, which is great news for us as it will probably force them to pair Gareth Barry with Tom Cleverley. Everton haven't been in particularly good form lately but they are still a far stronger prospect than last season. I would expect a tough match, and a threat to our clean sheet record.

No, I said I would like Chalobah to start BUT Matic and Kante are irreplaceable due to their current form. So, instead, if he is involved in the second half of games that would be a pretty good alternative considering the form of our midfield starting eleven. Not trolling I don't think?

November 4, 20169 yr Important game for us, going to repeat myself, if we will play like we did against Leicester, Manchester United there's no team that can beat us at the moment. There's no way to stop our counter attacks when they're going properly. I'd like to see this starting line: ----------------------------- Courtois ------------------------------- -------- Azpilicueta ----- David Luiz --------- Cahill -------------- Moses ------- Kante ------------- Matic -------------- Marcos Alonso ------------------ Pedro ------------------------ Hazard--------------------- ----------------------- Diego Costa ---------------------------------------- Want us to win and continue our good form, when our team is winning 4 games in a row, keeping a clean sheet 4 games in a row, there's no need in any changes. COME ON CHELS!!!!!!!!!
November 4, 20169 yr Evertonian here, figured I'd give you an update on what to expect for the match. Out Injured: McCarthy, Besic, Gibson, Baines Out Suspended: Gueye (5 yellow cards) Last match: Beat West Ham at home 2-0. Everton's season has been pretty up and down, we have played pretty solidly but there have been too many matches where we just look off and drew when we should have won. Our biggest issue is that we have been almost solely reliant on Lukaku. He is in good form and putting in goals but I think he is involved in like 2/3 goals for us so if he gets shut out then we don't look that threatening. What has been very nice though is our defense has been very solid giving up the second fewest goals in the league behind Tottenham (1 fewer than you and city), so anyone expecting a shootout will probably be wrong. Ashley williams has been a rock on defense and does a much better job organizing us and clearing out crosses (weakness last season). As far as our lineup this match Baines being out is a downgrade but Oviedo is serviceable and even though Baines is on the downhill we miss his distribution. Having McCarthy and Besic out hasn't been too big of a deal as they are not starting for us but with Gueye out we are now incredibly thin in the center of the park. Gueye has been one of the buys of the summer and for $7M he has been a kante lite. I wish he could play because it would be cool to watch them opposite each other. Our typical line up has been a 4-2-3-1 If we keep this formation on Saturday we will look like: Steklenberg Coleman Williams Funes Mori (Jagielka was dropped due to form last match) Oviedo Cleverly Barry Bolasie Barkley Mirallas Lukaku I will say Koeman has shown flexibility in his formations and willingness to make changes and drop players due to form or tactics. I wouldn't be surprised to see us line up in a 3-5-2 with Gueye out in order to pack the midfield. Maybe something like this. Stek Jagielka Williams Funes Mori Coleman Cleverly Barry Oviedo Barkley Bolasie Lukaku If you have questions regarding Everton let me know. I actually have a soft spot for Chelsea as they were the first EPL team I saw play live in 2004 when they came to the US and I got to watch Joe Cole tear up AC Milan, plus with my love of DMs, Essien was the gold standard back then as well.
November 5, 20169 yr just learned that there'll be another f**king international break next week, seriously did they double the number of these things i don't remember it to be this many so a must win game, keep the momentum strong going to the break, another 2-0 to the chels
November 5, 20169 yr Up early for a good few beers. Will be the usual close game with Everton i expect.....UP THE CHELS !
