November 2, 20168 yr Always felt Everton are our bogey team, but not at the Bridge. In our last five league games at the Bridge we won four and drew one. However we have lost two out of our last three (both defeats at Goodison) and the 3-3 draw close to losing as well. However this team is full of confidence, playing some of the best football we've played in awhile. I am confident that the team will give their best and go for the win.
November 2, 20168 yr I'm just glad that rat Naismith no longer plays for them. He always scored against us
November 2, 20168 yr Courtois Azpilicueta - Luiz - Cahill Moses - Kante - Matic - Alonso Pedro - Hazard Costa Chelsea 3 Everton 0 Hazard, Pedro, Costa
November 2, 20168 yr Author My only concern with the team is we have not got enough goal scorers, we can't rely on Costa and Eden all the time without goals coming from the rest of the team. For that reason i would like to see Michy sharing Pedro's position. They are both quick players, but Michy is stronger and more of a natural goal scorer.

I think that's half the reason Pedro has kept Willian out of the team for now. Take Pedro out and you're looking to Hazard and Costa to score all the time. After those two Moses is probably our biggest goal threat.

Pedro will probably bag about 6 goals this season, Costa 22, Hazard 14, Moses 8, thats 50, plus the rest chipping in say 20 goals, that's 70. I just feel we could do with a third player hitting double figures. I genuinely believe Michy is capable of banging in minimum of 10 goals, if we give him the chance.

Not a bad idea but to be fair we aren't having any trouble scoring right now so why adjust the formula

November 2, 20168 yr The only change to the team I would like to see at some point, is Pedro moving to LWB and Fabregas playing with Hazard behind Costa

He got 7 last season when we were awful and he was playing as a winger, he will be in the box more this season, and making runs into more central areas

I think that shows how much unsung work he put into that match in particular and I don't think it is a job batshuayi could do as well. when we play like that for me its willian or pedro. in home games it might be another matter. at home to leceister, especially in the first half we had four and at times five forwards on the pitch. against southampton it was only two.
November 3, 20168 yr I didnt think batman was ready for the premier league, at least not as a solo striker, based on his last start. Easily pushed off the ball, didn't do much to win it back, and missed his big chance. He is young and will improve and if he played with costa might get the confidence knowing it wasn't all on his head, but right now not ready. I do agree we need more goal scorers. What is solanke like.
November 3, 20168 yr A bg bonus for us is that Gueye is suspended. He is very important to them and plays a very similar role to Kante. He is a real quality player and let's not forget that their other first choice replacements are all injured to (Besic and Mccarthy). Hoepfully we can exploit the middle of the park and you never know by Saturday evening, hopefully we are top but I fully expect City to beat Middlesbrough.
November 3, 20168 yr Crystal ball predictions for this week's match against Everton: Chelsea (3-4-3): Begovi?; Luiz, Cahill, Zouma; Azpilicueta, Mati?, Fábregas, Aina (c); Pedro, Costa, Hazard Subs: Eduardo, Terry, Willian, Oscar, Chalobah, Batshuayi, Moses Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Everton (Moses 2) Some regulars in the team (in crystal ball land anyway), with Begovi? and Aina appearing quite a bit. Moses comes off the bench to win us the three points in this one, bagging a brace. I would be very happy with that. Let's go, you Blues! Edited November 3, 20168 yr by BellettiBullet
November 3, 20168 yr Same team again for me. No point changing anything at this point, we've comfortably won 4 on the bounce. Only question would be Pedro or Willian however I've been impressed with Pedro so far, Willian has seemed sloppy on the ball when we've counter attacked and has missed simple passes on a few occasions. Keep Pedro for now, give Hazard & Costa the ball and remain as tight at the back as we have been and we should be fine!
November 3, 20168 yr Hope we don't get too over confident with the players and become complacent. Everton always seem to give us a tough run home and away. Think we should keep our winning team (if it aint broke don't fix it). courtois azbi-luiz-cahill moses-kante-matic-alonso pedro-costa-Hazard
November 3, 20168 yr Pedro will probably start, Willian looked really poor since hes come back which is very understandable but hes the only real natural replacement to Pedro out right. Theres a case to be made for an upgrade on the right of the attack, especially if Conte decides not to play Batshuayi right od Costa, like a few other people above, I think its a role he'd be pretty good at. I've always hated playing Everton, and with Lukaku and Bolaise in fine form, they're going to be a handful for the backline so I'm going to say a very tight 1 - 0 Chelsea win. Diego with the winner.
November 3, 20168 yr Hard to see Fab fitting in to this team as anything but an impact sub at the moment. The team therefore virtually picks itself and I agree the Pedro / Willian spot is the main source of debate. Agree bats only looks good when on pitch at same time as Costa and could also slot in there. I also wouldn't mind seeing Chalobah get a chance in that role a bit further forward. Also when operating deeper as a 3 5 2 him and Kante as box to box would give a lot of movement. anyway conte will stick with Pedro and if it ain't broke - why not.
November 3, 20168 yr Another tough one. Everton are never an easy team to play against , either at The Bridge or up at Goodison. 1-0 us.
