I always got the feeling with Rodgers in 2014 then he let the players get ahead of theirselves. Football, especially the PL, is a funny ol game. Cant believe I want West Ham to win FFS, what is the world coming to? Brexit, Trump, Korea, cheering West Ham, madness. Feel you here. But our fate is in our hands. We just need to keep winning. Eyes on the prize.
May 5, 20179 yr Well well well, would you look at that, our points required has dropped and we haven't even taken to the pitch yet. If we stuff this one up we should suspend football operations entirely and become an athletics club.

May 8, 20179 yr Author Can't believe how close we are, just crazy. Honestly when we hit Everton for 5, I thought the media were getting carried away with us but I was wrong.

We were unreal that day, one of the best ( possibly the best ) performance i have seen from any side in the Premier League.

One thing I will say though, that performance v Everton when people were saying it was the best performance in the PL ever. I certainly don't think that was hyperbole, it's the best I've ever seen us play in a game.
May 9, 20179 yr I never thought we'd be here a year ago. The turnaround in fortunes has been extraordinary.
May 10, 20179 yr An article I saw by ian darke. How long will this sh*te be spewed out? "Next season will be the season, yada, yada, yada" this season was supposed to e tough. http://www.espnfc.us/blog/espn-fc-united-blog/68/post/3122042/chelsea-are-set-for-the-title-but-is-another-poor-season-for-the-premier-league

Always trying to make controversy out of nowt, whilst his voice is a constant drone.
May 10, 20179 yr I actually don't disagree that much with Darke's view. Yes, someone has to win it and that does not make the others who didn't failures but my word were the other teams inconsistent and nowhere near good enough. Think how many times we were given favours by the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and the Manc clubs dropping points. Hell, that same day as the 1-1 at Anfield, Arsenal lost, and Spurs and United both drew. That was a massive chance for SOMEONE to close the gap...and they failed. Since then, we pretty much kept winning while others dropped points (at least more so than us)...and barring a late Spurs charge (if we can really call it that), no one has been anywhere near our consistency. Not arguing against us being deserved winners, we have clearly been the best team this season...but has anyone else really made a race out of it? Nope. Edited May 10, 20179 yr by BellettiBullet

However i do think Pep and if they adapt to Wembley Spurs could actually make a race of it next time along with us. I think Jose's 100% title ratio in second season will end and Klopp hasn't got a prayer (both teams have a deep rooted issue when it comes to dispatching the lesser sides) and no point even mentioning Arsenal at this stage.
