Remember in the Sunday paper after the away game which we did win 1-0, can't remember if it was canoville or Nevin scored? Ron noades palace chairman admitted that the 20k crowd consisted of around 15k Chelsea! As the song goes "where were we when we were sh*t", 

Ideal scoreline would actually be another 1-0.

I remember in 08/09 when United had a series of 1-0 wins while we were trying to chase them and it was so deflating seeing the team at the top so close but yet so far from dropping points time after time after time, when Costa hit West Broms net and Tibo made that save you could almost feel the chasing packs sigh of dispair on our necks.

Palace's horror performance have been mainly on the road, they did push 2 Manchester teams all the way, should have got a point in both games. Zaha looked pretty sharp, should be a good match up for our defenders. The good news is they are sloppy defensively, and I don't think they will be able to play the type of defensive game like WBA or Sunderland. Both teams will be fatigued, we have better squad players. I see us winning 3:1

No reason we can't score 3-4..their defending is embarrassing

I dont have any bad feelings about this game and if Palace do come out shooting it will play into our hands (we are quite good on the break).The run has to end sometime,lets hope its in April lol.Anyway .....UP THE CHELS !

West Brom and Sunderland both played very very very defensive against us. Luckily Palace don,t have the players to it. But I do think they will pack out the midfield and hope to get the ball to Zaha

We dominated Sunderland and have enough chances to score the second, could have easily dropped points with that late shot from Van Aanholt. Score two goals and keep going with a cool head, it's just amazing to think that we have won 10 games in a row with so many good teams defeated.

I'd have matic and hazard in and probably Willian replacing Pedro.

Unfortunately batman is nowhere near Costas level. Costa needs a rest at some stage.

Moses and Alonso look ok for another run.

Our defence has been tight and although they can attack their defence is useless so not sure why mark lawrenson predicted a 1-1, I think hazard back in, London derby, lads up for it and scoring boots back on, 1-3 Chelsea

That's perfect for us, we struggle when teams put 10 men behind the ball, we are a counter attacking team this is exactly what we want, a quality team like city attack us look what happens, if palace attack us we will tear them to threads

If Hazard is fit to start, i'd like to see Costa rested (on the bench) and Michy given a start

Disagree completely.

After this one we'll have nine whole days rest before we face Bournemouth. Plenty of time for our players to rest.

And they haven't really been playing that much this season eighter considering we aren't playing and traveling in Europe midweek.

What's with the obsession with resting players who only play one game a week and earn millions a year? These guys have the best trainers, dieticians etc. We have no European fixtures this year so let's take advantage of that instead of worrying about them resting.

It doesn't matter if they earn $1 m or zero. The issue is getting the most out of them over the whole season.

You wouldn't send a champion horse out to race three times in a week. You would probably kill it. Footballers aren't that bad but you don't want them getting injured through over doing it.

Why do you think baseball pitchers get rotated all the time?

If costa gets a serious injury it would just about stuff the season.

Anyhow I'd still play costa I guess but it's a worry.

you simply do not rest a striker when they are on a hot streak, keep him playing and keep it going.

That would be applicable if we had a killing fixture list, like under Rafa when we were constantly playing five games in two weeks, but this year we have no Europe and for this time of year, our list isn't that hectic.

After Palace we have 9 days till Bournemouth on boxing day then we have Stoke on 31st then Spurs on the 4th, after that we have a week and a half until our next league game and i would imagine the top players will be rested in the FA Cup unless we are in trouble with not long left.

There is plenty of time for R and R.

just saw the highlights of last season's palace away on chelsea tv, even when we were sh*t and they're not so sh*t we spanked them 0-3

can't help but feel optimistic with this one, although zaha vs alonso worries me a bit
