Does not know what the passion about Chelsea is, should be someone with Chelsea in the blood. Majority of the under 23 team is out on loan gaining vital experience to either be involved in our first team squad or sold on at a profit.

March 10, 20179 yr Both the semi final legs against Spurs will be live on ITV4. The other semi is Man City v Stoke so it could be the third Chelsea - Man City final three years running. Come on you Young Blues!
March 14, 20179 yr Definitely looks like Man City in the final - they thrashed Stoke 6-0 in first leg! Let's hope we can beat Spurs and perhaps set up a final with City again which could then be mirrored in the FA Cup Proper. Will be watching tonight.
March 15, 20179 yr Who else saw the game last night? The 2 -1 scoreline suggested a close game but in reality we were so far ahead of Spurs in every aspect. Our boys were so comfortable in possession and whenever Spurs had it the press and off ball positioning from us was incredible they just couldn't hold it for any real period. Dare i say it, it was almost like the kids version of Pep's Barca in the way we made a good youth side look like total amateur's. The keeper of Spurs had the best game ive ever seen for a keeper at youth level, he was the reason it didn't go to 4,5,6 in the second period. Spurs scored one at the end but in reality it shouldn't be a problem, playing like this we should have far too much for them at The Bridge on Saturday. I was told in 2011 our long term plan was incredible and we have the best talent at kid's level and i was a bit skeptical at the time but it was quite clearly true, the next step has to be integrating the best talent in the first team squad (starting with Mason Mount this summer) and i can see the other thing that this women told me becoming reality, in her words "Give it time and i believe Chelsea will dominate the league like Man.Utd have, with City keeping them honest ala Wenger's Arsenal to Fergie". The same could have been said about Seville in the first leg against Leicester, when they totally outclassed them. 2-1 is a very slender lead, and we've still got it all to do.

Ofcourse its not over, but i just can't see them winning at The Bridge and if they do it will likely be a 1 goal smash and grab, meaning they will be knackered for ET after loads of ball chasing. I reckon if we play the 2nd leg of this 30 times we will go through in 29 of them.
March 17, 20179 yr Im taking my youngest to this ,he is only 6 and has never actually been in the ground yet,i told him wednesday and he hasnt been able to sleep since. It got me thinking about my first game back in 1973 ,Sept 5th home against Birmingham, mid week under lights ,magic. It left such a mark that it seems like yesterday,i cant remember the game but i can the lights and the pitch ,the running track and bright green pitch . I know the game has moved on in many ways but i reckon we all should take 5 seconds to think about the first time we entered the paradise that is Stamford Bridge and seeing the ground through a childs eye ! blimey im turning into jumpers for goal posts ! March 17, 20179 yr Hope your youngest enjoys it mate. Should be a good game and a decent turn out - let's hope we make it to yet another Youth Cup Final. Think it is magical that as we get older, we still have those great memories from attending those first games - especially under floodlights. I have great memories of not only going to The Bridge but also attending Stock Car & Speedway at Wimbledon Stadium. Loved the whole buzz and the atmosphere and probably best of all, a burger or hot dog with onions. Whenever I smell onions at one of those stalls, it takes me back to the 1970's. So treat your son to a burger / hot dog - he'll never forget it!! Edited March 17, 20179 yr by Nibs
March 17, 20179 yr Cheers Nibs i appreciate your best wishes and your right at 2-1 there is plenty to play for ... not only does he need a burger he needs to be able to sing the full repertoire of anti spuds songs! (only joking - he says :-) ) i live and indeed lived out in the sticks in west sussex so only went to Wimbledon stadium a few time for banger racing but your right ,football ,banger racing, horse racing, the dogs was kind of seedy and that added a level of enjoyment .My local bookies was just a smog of smoke ,now i sit them drinking a nice cup of coffee... ps love your little boy soldiers icon.... other than the Chels my one other true love was /is the jam .... guildford civic hall, the rainbow ,brighton ,etc etc ... happy days
March 17, 20179 yr There have been two constants in my life - Chelsea and The Jam. Couldn't have survived without either! Have broadened my musical tastes over the years, but still nothing will ever come close to The Jam and the excitement & energy at their gigs. The middle 3 albums - All Mod Cons, Setting Sons & Sound Affects - every track will forever be etched on my soul. As for tomorrow will be watching the game on ITV4 - COYB!
March 18, 20179 yr Great cross that, should settle things. Today should be a good day for all things Chelsea...What a flick by mount earlier too
March 18, 20179 yr Terrrific first half from the young boys. If these boys can't make it with Spurs are bringing through youth it's a disgrace, our guys are streets ahead of them in terms of development. Mount is a great player. Ugbo is deadly as well. Great save from the penalty for our keeper as well.
March 18, 20179 yr Honestly, we're just too good. Spurs think they're getting a little foothold in the game and bang we hit them on the break and it's a goal. Some very good players in this team. I'm really happy for Jody as well, great lad!
March 18, 20179 yr Wow, I'm enjoying this. The young lads been on the park for the last 5 minutes and just cuts Spurs open. Unreal.
March 18, 20179 yr 6-0 up 25 minutes to go ... 8-1 on aggregate and George McEachran has missed two pretty simple one on ones as well LOL. A-n-n-i-h-i-l-a-t-i-o-n !!!!
March 18, 20179 yr Ugbo is a terrific prospect, with him and Abraham coming through in the next few years we could have sensational choices for strikers. He's absolutely lethal.
March 18, 20179 yr Castillo looks a prospect, signed from Ajax apparently. This has been an enjoyable demolition, can't wait to see Jody Morris take over from Conte in 4 or 5 years....
March 18, 20179 yr Hope to see both Castillo and Sterling give Moses and Alonso some competition at wing back, if we can get the league wrapped up who knows these boys may get a debut.
