This is a striker i never considered, top class, plus we wouldn't get any Luiz v Kun aggro no more, apart from first day at training.....

How have you not rated him? He's been the best striker in the prem since he joined

Why would arsenal sell them sanchez

When did that happen?

Also, there are two  things City have and Arsenal don't : lots of money and ambition.

It hasn't happened am just saying, fact is no club wants to sell to rival's but money talks.

Here's an example for you. Since 2013-14 season City have spent around £480m, sold players for about £85m with net spend of £395m (!) . We're talking about the club that wipe their asses with FFP on a regular basis because they're bankrolled by an oil state. If they were run as a business they'd need to sell in order to buy. But they don't.

And even if they did decide to sell Aguero, why not sell him abroad instead of strengthening a direct rival?

I don't think they intend to sell him this season but when an offer came I guess they leapt at the chance?

Which is weird. This rumour doesn't have legs yet

But in that time they have sold and got rid of any player who isn't in their plans admittedly not to rivals but they don't seem to have an issue selling unwanted players.

If Pep want Ageuro out of the squad I don't see them forcing Aguero on Pep just because they have the money not to sell him.

The rumour is £80mil (although I doubt it's true at all). £80mil for an injury prone 29 year old would be pretty risky business.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

No.

No-one is laughing at the "risky business" bit, they are laughing at the £80m bit.

I wouldn't pay anything over 30m for him.

I remember watching him Vs Chelsea in a CL match at The Bridge some years ago. He was mesmerising and I couldn't wait for us to sign him. However he signed for City and has been a pretty lethal striker for them over the years but he is now 29 and City would fleece us for him. But then again Aubamayang is being linked for £60mil and he's 28!

I think those rumors are based from the last winter's rumors

I think they're agreeing with your comment

City actually made £20m profit last year. Their turnover is bigger than ours and Arsenal's. Their commercial income is about £60m more than ours.

And yet....something doesn't a huge add up for me. Yes they have a bigger ground than us , but their match day income is less. Their shirt sponsorship deal brings in only half of what we get from Yokohama. They sell far fewer shirts than we do. Their kit deal brings in less than ours with Nike.

All a bit mystifying.

I think they make up for it through sponsors of companies owned by family members/friends of the owner
