December 8, 20178 yr Bale? he is done for and im willing to bet Madrid will offload him in the summer......to utd probably and I'll say let them have him. Let them deal with his wages.....his injures and so on.
December 9, 20178 yr It's fair question. No one wants him to go, but its good to discuss if it happens. Because there is no guarantee. We've seen United failing to replace Ronaldo(signing Valencia, b**ch please), Liverpool - Suarez with bunch of scrubs, even we've got experience - we struggled a season until we found Diego to replace The King. I believe the right thing to do is to sign a young, very talented player for the future - singing Bale, or Neymar, or Dybala and the pressure that comes with it is great possibility to ruin their season and turn them into a flop. So if we are that dumb to sell Eden, we must prepare for season or two full with disappointments, we should start looking for a young lad that nobody expects him to bring us trophies and let the manager do his job. That's it. Anyway, pray we don't sell him cuz we'll have to wait few seasons until we are back in race again. Btw this will be a great excuse to finish the stadium just don't see how Conte will deal with it. So if we lose Hazard, we probably lose Conte, we will lose every chance to build a dinasty around him, but we will pass through the whole stadium process easier. It's a huge dilema tho. Still prefer Eden, Antonio to stay and bring us a trophy per season than 2-3 disappointing seasons for something that is happening anyway. The question is what Roman thinks about it. He pushed a lot last few years so maybe he is running out of patience for the stadium. Edited December 9, 20178 yr by Pendergast
December 10, 20178 yr A young player in the EPL that has caught my eye is Demarai Gray of Leicester only 21 and is showing promise even spectacular at times. Of course if we went for him it would look odd as it would be Leicester again and their fans might start to wonder if they are only a feeder club.
December 22, 20178 yr Fekir - He's like French version of Hazard but left footed and obviously not as talented. Isco - If he's available. Not really like for like, tough. Mahrez - 40-45m would be a good deal. Zaha - has kicked on a few notches. Richarlison - he's 20 but looks very talented. Very two footed as well. Always a big plus. In the craziest fantasy scenario, I'd love to see the team playing 4-2-3-1 and Hazard staying... With: Hazard Mahrez Fekir Zaha Richarlison RLC as the attacking flair players of the future. Seeing as it's already so far fetched.. I'm just gonna say, Belotti and Van Dijk as well. If the club shows the ambition and buys a bunch of players he enjoys playing with, players that are top quality like Morata this season, I think he'd be happy to stay. Problem is the club is not as ambitious as a few years ago. Edited December 22, 20178 yr by Sun zhi

December 27, 20178 yr Reus will be 29 when next season starts, Lewandowski will be 30 and Ozil will be turning 30 in October. All 3 are too old now. I also wouldn't go anywhere near Ozil even if he was 26. The guy is good if you are somebody who is obsessed with stats, but watching him live shows you the kind of player he really is. He goes missing in the big games, plays at one tempo in every game no matter what the situation is and looks knackered after about 60 minutes. He isn't someone you can rely on to drag your team out of a mess, he looks like he can't be bothered in half of the games he plays.
December 27, 20178 yr I reckon if Ozil new he would be in the mix genuinely to win a title he'd be more hungrier. Dont see the problem age wise with Reus or Lewy. After all hazard is 27 in January. Bringing in seasoned pros with class is all good. The talent pool is shallow at world level right now. No point people throwing names out there who have high overall potential on FIFA. December 27, 20178 yr As I've said before there's no one in the world you could replace him with that is gettable, Unless Neymar fancies another change.
December 27, 20178 yr I hope the club remain firm on him like Liverpool did with Coutinho because he is irreplaceable at this point.

That’s why I am surprised Ozil hasn’t signed a new contract, his a player who looks like he enjoys the easy life and you get that under Wenger celebrating 4th like you have won the league. Maybe he isn’t signing because Wenger really doesn’t have that much time left, I can’t see someone like Simeone putting up with him and he might have to run for a change.
December 28, 20178 yr If we lose him (pls no), we'd have to show some serious ambition and go for someone like Griezmann or Dybala. We can't replace Hazard like for like, because he's a unique player, but we'd have to replace him with a world class player, or we will definitely regress as a club. I assume if we lose him, it'll be in the off-season (while he has 2 years left of his contract). He'd command a huge fee. But hopefully he signs a new contract instead.
December 29, 20178 yr The only player I could see being attainable who plays in a similar way is Insigne but I'd imagine that even he would be crazy money
December 29, 20178 yr hudson-odoi will replace hazard. musonda will replace willian, and dujon sterling will replace pedro. loftus-cheek will return and so will tammy, and we will build the new class of '92.
December 29, 20178 yr If we sell him to Real Madrid I hope they will give us Marco Asensio as part of the deal, and we can use the remaining funds for a new striker.
December 30, 20178 yr We definitely should stop talking about wonderkids, ages.. The real life is not FIFA or FM or sth like that. 29 is not an old age. And, Hazard is a WC player for sure. RLC? Mahrez? Ozil? Zaha? guys, pls ffs. We are talking about Hazard. One of the most valuable players in the world. In 3 at EPL (with KDB+Kane) If one day we want someone to replace Willian or Pedro we can talk about Mahrez or Zaha. If Hazard's leaving, we should go for Asensio, Isco, Griezmann, Lemar, some deals like Mertens+Ins?gne, etc. But, IMO the main problem is not LWB, RWB, CB etc. All the team needs is scorer midfielder. Cesc do not have the form we need. And Bakayoko+Kante duo is not effective more than a table. Keep Hazard, go for Bailey/Lemar, sell Kante or Bakayoko, buy Hamsik or that class one. And then we can talk about Alonso/Moses.
December 30, 20178 yr Has anybody contemplated the fact that not only are we in the best league with all the best managers but since Tottenham humiliated real and if we manage to beat Barca (like last time we played) and that Chelsea are the current champions in the best league, that perhaps Hazard may be happy being the main man here, crazy thought but he may not want to go to a sh*t league in a second rate city to be a backup dancer to Ronaldo or Messi, when the 2 1/2 best teams in that league, the only ones that keep it alive, we beat one of them this year, the other one we put out of the champions league last time we met, and tehy havn't beat us in 9 meetings before that, and as mentioned the spuds spanked the other one, and city would beat all 3, that the sh*t spanish league with it's glory boy teams could be a thing in decline..... yaneverknow Edited December 30, 20178 yr by ScrubsLaneCFC

For all we know Hazard might be told they will build the team around him.

December 31, 20178 yr The PL's 1st place team this season is unbeaten and is 13pts clear at the top despite huge influx in money but La Liga is the one in decline. Sure.

Biggest money deals in history, attracted all the best managers, 5 teams through to the Champions League knockout stages, teams all teams undefeated in group stages bar us, Tottenham topping a group with real and Dortmund, beating both.....wouldn't call that declining
