Thank you for your insight and I can assure you your English is very good.
Out of curiosity, how do Roma fans view Michy?

Someone talented but that can't deliver, and unnecessary too, we have Defrel and Schick in the striker role, and Schick is a top-class player if he develops as expected (hope you've seen him play in Sampdoria last year). The priority is the right winger and someone to let Kolarov rest if Palmieri is sold, that's why we were after Mahrez this summer.

From his agent:

He seems pretty certain that Dzeko wants to stay at Roma, but if that's the case and there's absolutely no chance of a transfer then why is he so reluctant to confirm/deny whether he's spoken to Chelsea/Conte? The last sentence seems to imply that maybe he has spoken to Conte.

Certainly doesn´t seem like a definitive no to me

I know we are desperate for a striker, but Dzeko will be turning 32 in March. He's a good striker, but it's risk spending that kind of money on somebody at his age. He's at that age now where his legs could just give out on him.

But saying that, i would still rather we spend £30m on him rather than waste any money on Andy Carroll or Peter f**king Crouch

I like dzeko, but if we are prepared to pay nearly £30m for him, (which I doubt anyway to be honest), why not just try sell Batshuayi, instead of loaning him out, and go in for aubamayang.

I can't see us spending big on dzeko when we wouldn't even fork out the £15m for llorente 6 months ago.

Just praying we don't end up with crouch/carroll/benteke/koller etc.

Last time we were linked with a double deal from roma, it was for marco delvecchio and Luigi di biagio. I think it fell through because we were skint. I was pretty gutted at the time.

I don't care if he costs a bit of money. His striking ability would actually be useful, as opposed to a bizzare meme that would be Peter Crouch in a Chelsea kit.

Agent's play poker with their responses, give nothing away, keep all parties on your side etc. Look at Raiola, he is prime example.  If we agree a fee i'd be surprised if Dzeko wasnt on a plane to London

He recently had an interview for bosnian media and said that he likes rome, his family settled in great and he got two childs there. He's loved by the fans and has the respect of the board...

But my opinion is that if right offer goes there roma and him would accept. He is a trophy player and let's be honest he can't really win much in roma.

The way city, utd, and dippers are strengthening he might not have much chance winning trophies with us now

Dzeko  is a fantastic signing but it remains to be seen if Palermi keeps the form to prior to his injury. Roma fans saying he was amazing last year but the match he played since coming back he was really bad

That is coming from Metro though. When was a transfer ever confirmed by Metro before anybody else ?

I didn't get the news from Metro. And agreeing to join Chelsea isn't equivalent to a confirmed transfer. It just means he's said "Yes" to the offer.

Sky Italy’s well-connected Roma reporter says Edin Dzeko wants to come to Chelsea and deal is getting close. https://twitter.com/SkyKaveh

Fair enough then. Hopefully it's true because the thought of a 36 year old Peter Crouch leading our attack scares the hell out of me

It's the last valuable offer that we'll ever get for Dzeko, so it makes sense for Monchi to accept it.

Welcome to the Chelsea forum mate. It's good having fans from different clubs give their perspective on things during potential transfers. You speak Italian?

Yeah the Peter Crouch news almost felt like an act of trolling from Journalists haha. I doubt there was any authenticity to the news anyway. But i believe West Ham manager David Moyes might be interested in Batshuayi.

According to Sky News he denied any interest but what was the point in him being present during the Norwich Vs. Chelsea match ?

Yes, like I said before I came here to hear news, and I got them. Yes, I'm from Rome.

Dzeko is an enigmatic player, against Chelsea you saw the better him, but he's lunatic a lot. He has high ups and deep downs.

An Italian reporter called Angelo Mangiante or something also said Dzeko has said yes.  Our Sky Sports say Angelo is well connected with Roma news.  IS that true?
