RIP Ray, you were the man

Has anyone heard anything about his funeral? Maybe the family don’t want hundreds of fans rocking up and are keeping it quiet. 

2 weeks tomorrow it's overdue

i remember Ray being made captain. we are almost the same age; too close for comfort

 

Enjoy ... 18-year old Ray Wilkins interviewed at around the 7'42" mark ..

 

A couple of fabulous passes in the actual match as well ... spent most of the 80s telling anyone who would listen that it was Manchester United that turned Ray into the "crab". At CFC he was a brilliant attacking midfielder who scored plenty of goals. Still can't believe he has left us ...

 

An absolute credit to our club throughout his whole life.

RIP Ray. First Class human being and a credit to football. 

at the beginning of the FA Cup Final, there was a great show of camaraderie as both clubs showed their respects for Butch. I thought it was very cool to see - in case you missed here is a video of the scenes from Wembley
