Don't know quite why you said that to me I know it's a joke and everyone hates this government.  It's just I got slightly confused with what @axman2526 and indeed you have said. He said he was English but called it your government and you have done the same.

I thought Bohley would be good but it worries me that he would essentially do what the Glazers did and borrow the money with interest to buy the club. Glazers have spent money to be fair to them so it hasn’t stopped them, it’s been poor management that’s let them down. Suppose we don’t know the details so will have to trust Roman/board.

It sounds like the club board, and therefore Roman, still have a large say in this and the fact bidders need to disclose in signed legally binding documents as to how they will invest in the club and stadium is promising.

I have no facts to back this up however from the get go my gut has said BWG and Ricketts-Griffin would be bad choices. 

I am unsure on Candy and Sir Martins bids, was more hopeful with them to begin with however their bids lack details.

He'd have no issue with the Ricketts and Griffin if they promised huge spending every window, guaranteed.   Saudi's, Boehly, and Candy have all said theyd spend money on the team... yet no dirt being dug up on them afaik.... weird aint it?

Personality wise, Martin and Coe’s bid would be ideal but they don’t appear to have much finance behind them. 
 

I mean, I suppose you don’t necessarily need to be spending LOADS every summer. It’s more about spending it wisely and smartly. Liverpool unfortunately have shown that and our biggest purchases have often been the worst. It’s more about how the club is ran. 

To be honest I will be quite surprised if Boehly isn’t the new owner, on paper him and his consortium ticks all of the boxes Roman, the FA and the U.K. government is looking for; ability to get the deal done quickly, no dodgy political links, already a successful sports team owner, a promise to invest in the squad to keep us as a top club.

It seems as of right now, the only country to not sanction Abramovich is the US - at the request of Zelenskyy. So, obviously that could change, and the US could sanction him at any time. Even though, I thought I read that he was already sanctioned by the US, but I could've been confusing different reports and combining them in my memory. I can't wait until this process is over so I can get back to worrying if Rudiger is gonna stay or if we are gonna buy Rice, or Tchouameni, or whoever - the truly important things in life

Could be perhaps they weren't financially heavy enough to really invest in the club. May have had good intentions, but lacked the funding overall

Much as i am/was totally against the idea as i thought he was a desperate chancer, i have suspicions that Candy will make the final list. When you sit back and not let bias cloud your thinking, it makes sense.   We're told Buck, Marina and Roman will all have a say in the shortlist and Candy himself met Buck and Marina to discuss his bid

 

And dare i say it, i think the Ricketts will, too

I have read the list will be no more than 4.

So my guess is WJ replace Candy if he gets in. Other 3 are locks imo.
