I know but I wasn't really refefering to the wages there. More the clubs financials in a general sense.

It's a given that this years financial books won't be a pretty sight. Next season's will also be very challenging presumably without any CL or other UEFA income and there is a very live possibility we miss out on Top 4 yet again this season.

 

Given the club's relaxed stance on selling off players, I think June 30th is only seen as the end of the fiscal season rather than an actual deadline for when the 2022/23 books need to be finalized and submitted.

Clubs are already squeezing us though and why wouldn't they. I'm seeing lots of reports of us having to sell before we can even attempt to get Caicedo and now Kepa may stay on as first choice goalkeeper so yeah we are a bit broke.

There lies the issue. No one knows anything. June 30th was also mentioned as a soft deadline, meaning these reporters don't necessarily know if it is the deadline as they are putting 2 and 2 together for FFP as that is the end of the fiscal season. 

When the club are pricing players 20m over their valuation with June 30th 15 days away, it gives me this impression that June 30th may not be the actual deadline.

I reckon  we will only see Sales that add up to that 92mill target, or just over, concluded by June 30th, after other sales can be done.

Looks like Kai could be one of the pre June 30th sales. We want 70mill (42mill book value profit) Arsenal best offer so far of any club at 60mill (32mill book value profit). Either way a good start.

Kova to City (35mill, 27mill book value profit) should be done soon according to reports.

Could be Mount is another one if United cough up 60mill, that would do it.

Colwill, Chalobah and Gallagher all drawing strong interest to.

To have not secured a sponsor at this point is neglectful in itself.

£44m/year is a 20% increase from what the club had with THREE as the sponsor. The fact the club managed to gain such an increase despite not being in Europe at all is a pretty good testament to their commercial business. I imagine it will be a 1 year deal and renegotiate once the club qualifies for Champions League, so probably 3 years total until Gambling sponsors are banned in 2026. 

The underwhelming part is being involved with a shady crypto company and the hypocrisy it brings when we became the first club to have open Iftar for our Muslim supporters.

Stake isn't 44 million. That was from a party that pulled out, believed to be another Crypto company.

Three was £40 million and from what i'm seeing Stake is slightly less on a one year deal.

The laughable part is that the club apparently were looking for £50m a year.

At least the kids shirts will be plain, as they cant put betting companies on kids shirts apparently.
