If you could make a team out of our loan army, where would they finish in the EPL under a good manager?

Featured Replies

J Blackman

K Zouma, K Omeruo, F Tomori

V Moses, M Mount, T Bakayoko, C Musonda, O Aina

C Pulisic, T Abraham

Bench: Eduardo, Kalas, Sterling, Palmer, Pasalic, Kennedy, Batshuayi.

With Lampard or E Howe in charge, I can see this team playing with lots of flair and finishing around 8th or 9th in there first season and improving from there to a top 4 team in three season.

Not really, lots of talents there, is all about getting the right manager who can get the best out of them.

Sorry mate didnt read thread title, thought that's what you wanted to see next season!

Have to admit pondering about the feasibility of playing Abraham and CHO upfront as part of a 4-4-2.

Ah nice idea for a thread.

GK: Eduardo

RB: James

LB: Da Silva

CBs: Zouma and Kalas

CDM: Baka

CM: Mount and Pasalic

WF: Pulisic and Kenedy

ST: Abraham

Agree on Howe or Lamps. Reckon around 12th first season.

That team would finish bottom by quite some distance.
I don't think so, most of this players will work straight into the starting line up of some teams in the EPL that are not even in the relegation zone.

Well he did point out already that that would be the managers fault

8th? lol.
I think that team would almost certainly go down.
They won't go down under a good manager. Give that team to J Klopp or A Conte and add Ampadu, CHO and RLC, you will be having a very strong team after 3 years.
If Alexander Arnold, Gomez, weren't given a chance by a good manager who knows how to get the best out of the youth, many people will still rate them as Championship level players!

Would be more interesting to see where a team of our Under 25 players would end up

4-3-3

Kepa (24)

James (19), Zouma (24), Chistensen (22), Emerson (24)

Mount(20), Ampadu (18), RLC (23)

Pulisic (20), Abraham (21), CHO (18)

Squad Depth:

Bulka (19)

Ola Aina (22), Fikayo Tomori (21), Trevoh Chalobah (19), Jay DaSilva (20)

Mario Pasalic (24), Bakayoko (24), ??

Musonda (22), ??, Kenedy (23),

I don't think our first team would look too bad. Definitely a bit thin in terms of depth, especially in attack. But if we threw away the cup games and concentrated on the league, might be able to fight for 9-10th place? If Abraham can't make the step up, goals would be a big, big issue though

And if you included the 25 year olds, we would get Barkley, Batshuayi, Kalas and Omeruo as well

A couple of injuries would have us down in a relegation scrap though as the drop off in ability between first team and backup would be quite large

I never new Emerson is still 24, looking at that team, I will easily give him the captain.
Do you fancy E Howe or Klopp to get the best out of that team?

We'd be comfortably 7th with that line up.

After 3 years they'd be 10th.

As they'd get relegated then sneak back up and then cement mid table.

A lot of your players are a good championship standard. Some are lower than that (musonda)

Maybe I tend to overrate him because every time I watch him I see a future top player. Though something seems to be holding him back, maybe his weight.

Bags of talent, but I think it's been hinted that his mentality might be the issue.

Seems like this season has been an injury nightmare as well

Hahaha since this is fantasy football we're talking about, I quite fancy myself based on my Championship/Football Manager career

All I need is an unbeatable tactic save file
