You are naive if you think Arteta isn’t doing a great job being THIS close to us in the table. No one gave them a prayer at the start of the season. If this was Lampard, you’ll be singing praises. He isn’t doing that great a job. They have lost 11 games this season, some of those losses very recently to bang average teams. Even with the complete turmoil Chelsea have had to deal with, they still above them in the league. Relax a bit and stop riding Arteta so hard.

They have no european games and failed in the cups much sooner than us, we went all the way in both cups and had to travel to abu dhabi for the CWC. On top of all that they were able to complain and get games moved in critical periods where we had to slog on and take the injuries.

From 8th to 4th is a good job, especially AGAIN - no one gave them a prayer to get there this season. If nobody expected Arsenal to be in this position especially 1 point behind us, it is a good job no matter how you slice it. I am not riding him, I’m just not blind to seeing progress elsewhere. May 10, 20224 yr I think Arteta has done ok. They have some decent players and a penchant for beating us recently. Perhaps unlucky to lose Tierney and I think they need to work more on their defence. Not sure they will win anything under Arteta yet they are becoming more competitive.
May 10, 20224 yr The first six and seven of the first eight stories on BBC Sport Football are about Haaland. I’ve never seen that much on one item before, not even when it concerns Liverpool.

May 10, 20224 yr Klopp resting 5 regular first teamers today, including Thiago and Salah. Clearly not expecting much of a fight from Gerrards Villa so can prioritize the cup final.
May 10, 20224 yr A footballer has reportedly been dropped from his side for breaking wind – and it might be the sporting story of the year already. According to new reports in France, the Brazilian defender Marcelo was demoted to Lyon reserves from the first team after "farting in the dressing room and laughing about it with his teammates". https://www.indy100.com/sport/footballer-dropped-farting-marcelo-lyon Edited May 10, 20224 yr by Kantesmini
May 10, 20224 yr That's disallowed at the other end, jota jumping foot first through the air taking out two players? no chance var allows that against them!
May 10, 20224 yr Ref is already helping out Liverpool whenever he can. He’s not giving anything to Villa.

May 10, 20224 yr Liverpool look absolutely sh*te. So much for great mentality. One result doesn’t go their way and they are rattled
May 10, 20224 yr Fabinho was grabbing his lower arse meaning it may have been a proximal hamstring pull. High chance he misses Saturday.
