May 8, 20224 yr There we go. Our lead is down to 1 point. Pathetic. We need to pray for an Arsenal win to push Spurs out of the top 4 race…and of course that we beat Leeds.
May 8, 20224 yr Leeds fans laughed at me when I said they would go down this season..........well, look how the tables have turned. I shouldn't laugh though, they have Charity FC next, so they'll probably get something from that.

May 8, 20224 yr I can’t be happy about Lamps’ Everton win today. First, it means that Leeds will be fighting even more for their lives on Wednesday. Second, the way that they played us and the dirty tricks they used (especially in the first half) made me lose that warm up air I had for those scousers. They can rot with their kicks in the championship for a while. All scousers are the same after all.

Not from our point of view, but I really want Everton to go down and now that won't happen...

May 8, 20224 yr Blimey, Grealish is so thick that he dived down rolling against Newcadtle and he rolled that much that he got himself out of the pitch instead of forcing the ref to stop the game. 🤦🏻 Edited May 8, 20224 yr by RMH

May 8, 20224 yr City are a really dull team to watch, but at least they win and have been able to get their sh*t together in the PL despite being serial bottlers in Europe. But my god they are boring, I’m not sure I could watch that football every weekend (oh wait, I do and losing many more games!).

You can tell he's utterly sick of playing with him. Dribble, Dribble, cut back and recycle. He'd fit in well here.

I have never been a fan of possession based football, it's the reason why I hated watching Spain and Barcelona when they were dominating. It's just so boring to watch. It's even worse when watching us do it because there are no positive outcomes from it. There is nothing worse than watching your team have possession for the sake of it, only for opposition to play through you with two or three passes, swing a cross in and score a goal.

I’m ok with it if it’s played well. Yesterday Liverpool had more possession than the Spuds and played intense, fast football (well ok, they drew but it was entertaining). Spain with Aragonés played some scintillating football, I specially remember the European Cup 2008 semifinal against Russia and the final against Germany, but under del Bosque Spain had pretty good games like the World Cup 2010 semifinal against Germany or the Euro 2012 final against Italy. Possession football does not have to be boring, slow football like City or us are playing. But I agree with you about the Barcelona tiki taka boring sh*t, which is Pep’s trademark.

May 8, 20224 yr Given this weekends results I can honestly say that us and Utd are the worst of the top 6 teams and do not deserve any games in Europe next season; both defences have given up and all players have been in a malaise for several months, both managers are clueless as to what to do, both are making poor decisions...I expect all teams around us and Utd to strengthen next season and as much as I hate to say it I doubt we will make the top 6 especially, when Newcastle go on a spending spree, Spurs strengthen as Conte makes Europe, Arsenal will continue the love in with Arteta, although they will have midweek games to contend with. Can see City splashing out on a centre forward and Liverpool will continue finding half decent players for under £50mill.....meanwhile back at the ranch...we will keep loaning out the best of our youth and spend needless amounts of our new owners cash...
May 8, 20224 yr relegation drama in serie a, if not for that equaliser Cagliari were almost certainly relegated at this point Ribéry also got a red Edited May 8, 20224 yr by azpi28

May 8, 20224 yr The Wolves, hammers and Villians are all liking their lips as Pep is left with only Laporte for CB for the rest of the season. City may have won 3 points today but the lossnof Diaz may cost them the title. Fernadinho to CB I guess then.
May 8, 20224 yr So Pep has finally twigged that the media in England loves Liverpool. Now we need someone just as high profile to call out TV companies like Sky Sports who have dedicated Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal co commentators with Carragher, Neville and Alan Smith.

He was half right. The media certainly loves Liverpool, but pretty much everybody outside of Liverpool can't stand them.
