Just read Tuchel said Chilwell feels a lot better but will be tested tomorrow. Please Lord let Ben Chilwell be ok.

Saw on Twitter that Chilwell left the stadium not on crutches which is always a good sign. Hopefully just a deadleg. I imagine he'll be rested at the weekend though, which could be a big loss for us.

That's why we're so good in my opinion (and i saw it coming which was one of the reasons I was so against Rom returning).

We have everyone involved so heavily in the build up and teams simply cannot cope.

I think Tuchel has to see how much more dangerous we look with all these players coming into the box rather than one.

We don't score that 3rd goal with RLC running in front of the entire Juve defence if Romelu is stood there.

Better to rest him against the easy game v manyoo, then hope to have him return for the potentially tough back to back aways at Watford and West ham.

The Rom situation is the one thing I'm nervous about going forward.

If he gets back in we won't be looking this good (XG per game with him is 1.5 and without him is 2.5) and if he doesnt his track record suggests he's going to be a nightmare to have in the locker room.

Finding the perfect balance between both extremes could be Tuchel's hardest task yet.

hahaha i like your thinking. If only Ole was still in charge, new manager syndrome and Anthony Taylor tax could prove difficult this weekend.

I trust Tuchel to do whatever is needed to make us the best, if that means leaving Lukaku out I'm sure he will do it.

I dont see Tuchel putting Lukaku back into the team in a hurry, not after scoring 21 goals in 7 games since he was injured, yes we did have some easier fixtures, but it would be a mistake to throw Lukaku back in when our momentum has so much energy.

That is better, though try and learn from what Zeta posted in the United thread.

Should be more like "They finally dumped their AVB, have a new manager bounce going on, Ronaldo in the mood to prove a point as are Sancho and VdB, and their star player Taylor is back for the game, so we are basically screwed..."

Jinxes are for people with a nervous disposition.

Forgot to mention how much RLC looks the part attacking wise. Fantastic feet and body swerves for a big guy. Lucky to have him.

I love watching him in full flow. His style of football is similar to Zidane's (obviously Zidane was one of the greatest at it)

I think we should take in count that even after we made 15 goals in the last 5 league games and 4 against Juventus now in the CL, that it's not the strikers that are scoring most of those at all.

The question is how long can we keep doing this... Sure if CHO keeps playing well the goals will come and clearly Reece is a real problem when he goes forward but at some point we should have Lukaku bullying everyone and scoring easy tap-ins or headers. In theory any opposition should have lots of problems dealing with James, CHO and Pulisic cutting inside and Lukaku/Havertz being in the middle. Tuchel can't just give up on Lukaku being a key signing that easily, the fact that he's making the team tick with multiple players shows his ability and also the fact that we do have a very strong squad.

Though the work rate of Lukaku when we press can be a significant drawback, sure he does try but we see now that even if we have Pulisic having a free role in the middle that it's more effective than Lukaku, he has light feet and can press much easier.

I think that against some particular opposition our "light cavalry attack" won't work. But against Juventus it was spot on.

Of course I'm not saying we drop him, we could have done with him against Burnley and Southampton. The 'light cavalry attack' is just the same as what city have got, we need to get over this notion you cant survive without a #9.

I would rather have 15 goal scorers in the squad than a 20+ goal #9, but we can have both, but lumping Lukaku up front every game has us looking one dimensional and predictable as our goal scoring record shows.

I’m tempted to pretend it’s Tuesday night and stick the match on again.

Do it mate. This was not Malmo we beat, it was one of the world's most famous football clubs. Up there with Milan, Barca, Real and Bayern.

‘You know it makes sense !’ to quote Del Boy Trotter😀

I watched it again from about 10.20pm last night. 😀

I still don’t know how Silva got back for that clearance!
