I reckon the Club World Cup fixtures have influenced this decision.  The league’s integrity is put into question here, imagine it was a title decider or relegations 6 pointer with one team decimated and the other full strength.

It's a complete farce that this goes ahead. Likely there are players in our XI who's got the virus in their body already, just need enough to test positive.

Almost every major sport has lost it's integrity now, corruption(fifa uefa etc), doping(cycling etc), match fixing (snooker cricket football etc), grooming (gymnastics football etc), blackmail (football), racism (cricket football etc).

    I was reading that Omicron can develop in a day and a half, vs the three days it can take to get a PCR test result back.

    The usual lack of common sense or logic that we have seen so far in this pandemic ...
