they can't, they are part of a different bubble, and if they would want to put them in then they would have to have done so earlier which is a risk because they could infect the other players

Maybe we'll have to see a repeat of this masterclass, for Kepa or Bettenelli.

He could have planned ahead & had them in the bubble though, other teams are doing it. Wolves have a kid starting, & 3 other youth players on the bench. Just poor planning, and bizarre 

Well. I understand that youth players cannot be on the bench because they are in a different bubble.
But does it make sense to play this game almost without a striker ?

i agree, but would putting youngsters in the first team count towards the 14 you need?

Its not like we had to put David Webb in nets. Only one sub then too

I reckon our squad could all die in a fiery bus crash r route to the game and the PL would force us to put the burning corpses out on the pitch.

What's the alternative to what Tuchel has chosen? Every single player from our squad is in the matchday squad.

Frustrating with so many games postponed that the league don't include ours despite our request - but it is what it is, just got to deal with it. Also find Wolves one of those annoyingly frustrating sides to face often - hope we can just grab a close away win by whatever means in our current state!

Joking aside, I hope the 17 players representing us today are collectively really pissed off and angry about this state of affairs, and channel their emotions into being focused, mean, ruthless and clinical, and give Wolves a right f**king hiding :-)

Surprised Cech isn't on the bench to add a 3rd goalkeeper and make up the numbers...travesty of justice being played out here.  Give all the chasing pack a good chance to gain ground on us by cancelling their games and in the hopes we lose today....this is worse than the FIA 🤨

Wow. Unbelievable that it seems we are victims of having a big squad. Our request for postponement was rejected. No natural CF in the squad. Bench is ridiculous. Any result is a positive. As said in earlier post, not fussed about this game.

I have complete confidence in our bench. If John Terry can keep a clean sheet as an outfielder in goal, we can achieve the opposite with a goalkeeper in outfield scoring them. #bettinelliheroandlegend
