Conner was equally as bad

Chilwell was awful with his shots though some of his overlapping runs and defense work was solid.

His first match for a while.

We never looked like breaking them down though Paqueta should have seen red for me.

Yep.  Of all the sh*t this country is in,  they all unite over a storm in a bloody teacup like this and as mentioned by DKW earlier.  It's the price that's the real disgrace,  not some token bit of cloth on the back of the neck you can barely see.

sh*t here in the states too. 

Southgate will be gone after the Euro's and the country will be once again be talking about how we let an average coach lead another top generation of talent for so long. After failing to win the Euro's with England at Wembley against a well organised but very average Italy side, that should have been it for him. Southgate's football is trash built to protect sh*te players like Maguire instead of playing to the strengths of the quality around him. He's another safety first coach who would rather build a team around protecting a few players instead of dropping them and replacing them with players that will help get the best out of the team.

Maguire, Rashford, Henderson, they shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad. Dunk is mediocre too and was at fault for the goal last night. 

I also think Walker has lost a yard of pace. He's always going to be quick, but he got done for pace by Vinicius Jr multiple times last night. Without that pace, Walker is a mediocre defender.

Our players were terrible too. Gallagher was showing the usual level of mediocrity we see of him on the ball and Chilwell (as much as I am a fan when he is in good form) is very lucky to even be in the squad. Too many injuries have caught up with him and we won't see him back to his best ever again unless he can go a full season without a major injury.

Yeah Chilwell and Gallagher were shocking.

It's just more obvious how bad they are when they are surrounded by better players than the rubbish at Chelsea.

Southgate changed shape for Brazil going with Bellingham as an attacking player like he does currently with Madrid.

So it looked to me like he is building the team around Bellingham yet  bar a few step-overs Bellingham was not threatening.

Watkins plays on the shoulder not a striker to hold the ball up and find Bellingham on the move.

Not sure Toney would be any different though Kane should when fit.

Funny match tonight, Bellingham could have had a hatrick and Foden a brace.

Pitchford and Dunk messed up defensively and Lukaku had a great assist.

I liked Rice and Bowen tonight both played well.

Chilwell improved as the game progressed yet still looks a little rusty.

Players win matches and especially tournaments, it doesn't matter who's your manager.  The culture of English football is the problem, it's changing but as we know culture takes years to change.

St George was born in modern day Turkey to Greek parents though as you have more or less said he apparently lived most of his life in modern day Syria, Lebanon, Libya and other areas in and around the Holy Land. According to Wiki it was in Libya that he killed a "dragon".

Yeah his dad was Turkish (cant recall greek tbh), his mum was from the levant (Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, jordan, etc).

I remember I did a school essay on him, and I did a stained glass window for it. Looked like a blob with a stick on top of a mutated dog killing another blob with red puke on the side. I think I was 7 or 8. My mum has a pic of it in an old album somewhere. 🤣
